Story
We couldn't all agree on a name, so we kept calling her Kitten, and it stuck. She is so sweet and full of energy. She wants to play all the time and my older cat doesn't. My older cat clearly doesn't want to have a sister. I know Kitten just wants to play, but she is stressing out my older cat. She is hissing and growling all the time, even when Kitten is just walking by. It's not a good situation. We need a new home for her. She loves to play fetch and chase (she chases and wants to be chased). Very sweet and affectionate. I picked her from someone who was moving and couldn't take her to the new apt. She is about 7 months old and has been spayed and is up to date on her shots.

Story
Penny is beautiful, but she’s the Regina George of cats. She *knows* she’s beautiful and it shows! Penny is a definite diva. She currently lives with her sister cat (from the same litter) and a “brother” dog, and she lets them know who’s boss every day. She likes to get between them and the doorway or food because she knows they’re scared of her. With other animals, Penny is a Mean Girl. That’s why I feel she would be best as the only pet in a household. Penny would love to sit in your lap and get all the petting. She will purr and knead her paws into you. She’s never been good at taking her claws all the way in, so I always have a blanket nearby to protect my lap. Other than wanting to be the boss and a lap cat, Penny’s hobbies include eating and following sunbeams all over the house. Penny does go outside on occasion but stays close and keeps to our deck. She is eight years old. Penny would love to meet someone who will worship and admire her as she thinks she deserves!

Story
Bernadette is eight years old and a sweet girl. She lives right now with her sister (from the same litter) Penny, but she’d rather not (Penny bullies her). Bernadette is loving and sensitive. She gets along with dogs just fine if they’re friendly. She likes to approach them to touch noses. She enjoys sleeping on the bed beside you. She’s a total couch potato and sweetheart! Bernadette’s hobbies include finding cardboard boxes she can fit into, eating, and being a little bit dramatic when her bowl is empty. Give her an empty box and she’s in heaven. She will also sit in your lap and loves being scratched. She enjoys the raised canvas dog bed we have on our deck—it’s a favorite napping spot. Bernadette is an indoor/outdoor cat, but mostly indoor. Her “outdoor” adventures now that she’s an adult are very tame. She never strays far from our deck or her food dish! Bernadette is seeking a loving home where there are sunbeams, boxes, and maybe a friendly dog to sniff.

Sassy: Dilute tortious shell/calico mix About 1 1/2 years old Fully vetted…spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, on flea/tick preventative, FIV/FELV negative. Not microchipped yet. Sassy and her mother were rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many stray cats with many being ill.  She was a bit wild but adapted to indoor life fine.  She was quite a little rascal but has calmed down being a petite adult now.  Sassy is very food motivated and loves to play and chase things.  Once acclimated, she is quite loving, likes to be in her foster’s lap and gets along with cats and dogs she knows.  She and her mother aren’t really bonded at this point, so they would do fine being separated.September 13, 2024, 5:10 pm

Story
Mama Calico: Calico anywhere between 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Fully vetted…spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, on flea/tick preventative.  Still needs a microchip. Rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many cats, some very ill. Mama is a sweet, loving girl, but can be persnickety with high strung cats or cats that are prone to fight.  When acclimated and comfortable, she loves attention and being in a lap.  She loves playtime with toys and can sometimes have zoomies from being excited.  She currently lives with 25 other cats and gets along fine with almost all of them.  With acclimation, she really likes dogs and wants to rub on them.  Her daughter Sassy is up for adoption also, but they aren’t  necessarily bonded at this point.September 13, 2024, 5:10 pm

Story
Luna has been a member of our home for 4 years (since she was a kitten). She is good natured, comes when called, and loves to watch the birds. She is an indoor cat and we are pretty sure she would not do well as an outside cat. She likes playing with her toys and being brushed/petted. She is currently on a diet to lose a couple of pounds. She currently weighs ~15 pounds. She has been known to make an appearance on the family bed during the winter months. She takes a while to warm up to folks.

Waffles is a great cat. I rescued him when he was just a kitten but unfortunately I now live with my nephew who is allergic. I want him to have the best home possible. He is used to living with mainly just me and my small dog so it is unknown how he’d do with other animals or children. He loves his cuddles for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.

Story
Fender-Bender is a little over a year old. At only 7lb: She is semi-independent with impecable manners. She loves people and is more of a wal-mart greeter than a participant. She'll meet your company at the door, sit around and listen to the conversation and escort them back to the door when its time for them to leave. I'm a therapist and she has proven to be an intuitive emotional support pet: comical, talkative and calm mannered. She likes taking walks and will go with me to visit friends in their apartments. I've only had her for 23 days. :(. She is soft-pawed, meaning she doesn't scratch the furniture or climb the curtains. She uses scratch-posts. She was named after the fender guitar and her meows are similar to guitar benders: hence her name: Fender-Bender. I am sadly needing to re-home her after a short period of time, due to my grandson's severe allergy to cat. (something I was unaware of when I adopted her.) She comes with everything you'll need. food, toys, litter box
