Story
Tatum is a sweet young girl, almost 2 years old, who is easy going and social.  She is compatible with non aggressive cats. She loves attention and petting. Tatum may have hyperesthesia which is sometimes diagnosed by the symptom of a rippling effect down her back and a sudden quirky outburst of playfullness. Around 8 pounds, Tatum is a sturdy feline with a gaentle demeanor.   Her coat is pristine white with dilute grey and orange on the tail and head similar to a turkshish van.   Tatum  will be celebtrating her second birthday in December 2025 and wants to be in her own home for the holidays.  Age appropriate vaccs, spayed, microchiopped, and rabies vaccinations are completed. She is a perfect fit for most any family. Good to know, she has been around dogs and was fine but a gentle introduction is always the way to go with both cats and dogs. Please complete the application on this site or go to Linktr.ee/ncfnrescue. ##1958455##

Story
Hello Calico Cat Lovers! PAIGE is not your average kitten—she's a tiny titan of curiosity wrapped in one of the most fabulous calico coats you'll ever see! Her patches of vibrant orange, deep black, and creamy white create a mosaic of striking patterns that make her instantly recognizable and utterly stunning. But what truly sets Hazel apart are her fabulous eyes. They are large, luminous orbs—often a captivating shade of green or gold—that sparkle with intelligence and mischief. They are perfectly framed by her tri-color fur, giving her an expressive, almost knowing look that melts hearts instantly. Exploring is more than just a hobby for Paige; it's her full-time job. Whether it's investigating the mysterious rustle of a paper bag, scaling the dizzying heights of the sofa cushions, or pouncing on the elusive "red dot," she approaches every adventure with fearless enthusiasm. She's a little shadow that darts, leaps, and tumbles through her world, soaking up every new sight and smell. Go to Linktr.ee/ncfnescue for an application for PAIGE. ##2529026##

Lottie is beautiful young adult with tan, gold and black markings on a gorgeous white body! She also has an unusual dark striped tail which is very pretty! A foster for Citizens for Animal Welfare spotted her at Animal Control, and she was brought to our small rescue. It is now her turn to be adopted by a loving family. She has been examined by a vet and is a very healthy young adult cat! Lottie is negative for FIV/Leuk., has been spayed and had her vaccinations, and Rabies shot. Lottie is exceptionally friendly and loves to play and be petted. There is a dog on the premises and Lottie has shown no fear or aggression towards him. If you are interested in Lottie, please let us know and we will be happy to send an application to your email. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us at: citizens4animals@yahoo.com Thank you for your interest in a truly rescued pet!

Story
Patches is 6 years old, I got her from a friend in high school to be an outdoor cat, however here recently that has had to change due to her being diagnosed as a pre-diabetic earlier this year. She keeps to herself a lot but will let you know when she wants attention she has always been this way. Patches does have to be on a special food so that her blood sugar doesn't spike back up. She is allowed to have treats but only a few per day. She is not on a prescription for insulin as long as her blood sugar is under control. I am looking for someone who has had experience with cats and knows when something is up and can take her to the vet when needed. Patches is very timid and shy but she will voice when its time to eat.

Story
MAY is a special cat that needs a special adopter. Found in the Ingles’ parking lot and brought to the SCHS when she was only about two weeks old, she was very sick. Her left eye remains cloudy and she sometimes has a bout of URI that's cleared with antibiotics. We wish we knew what May had experienced before coming to us. She is an energetic girl that plays rough (and when you least expect it); she cannot go to a home with small children for this reason. She wants affection only when she initiates it. She really could use other cats in the home, but they have to be able to tolerate her outbursts. She is currently in foster care and her very-experienced foster mom can share even more information about her. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. Please submit an adoption application through stanlycountyhumanesociety.org for consideration. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  November 4, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Selena is 7 to 8 months old. She is a gray tiger stripped tabbyco. She has a very distinctive path of peach on her forehead. She's more of a dilute calico kind of tabbyco. She is very playful and sweet with just a touch of shyness. She came from an outside location where she was lucky to get any food at all. But that doesn't stop her because she just wants to be loved and play. She's fixed and up to date on her shots and also negative on Feline Leukemia and FIV. If you are interested in adoption or a meet and greet please contact angelstotheanimals.org. Must be 22 to apply
