Story
Tatum is a sweet young girl, almost 2 years old, who is easy going and social.  She is compatible with non aggressive cats. She loves attention and petting. Tatum may have hyperesthesia which is sometimes diagnosed by the symptom of a rippling effect down her back and a sudden quirky outburst of playfullness. Around 8 pounds, Tatum is a sturdy feline with a gaentle demeanor.   Her coat is pristine white with dilute grey and orange on the tail and head similar to a turkshish van.   Tatum  will be celebtrating her second birthday in December 2025 and wants to be in her own home for the holidays.  Age appropriate vaccs, spayed, microchiopped, and rabies vaccinations are completed. She is a perfect fit for most any family. Good to know, she has been around dogs and was fine but a gentle introduction is always the way to go with both cats and dogs. Story
Hello Calico Cat Lovers! PAIGE is not your average kitten—she's a tiny titan of curiosity wrapped in one of the most fabulous calico coats you'll ever see! Her patches of vibrant orange, deep black, and creamy white create a mosaic of striking patterns that make her instantly recognizable and utterly stunning. But what truly sets Hazel apart are her fabulous eyes. They are large, luminous orbs—often a captivating shade of green or gold—that sparkle with intelligence and mischief. They are perfectly framed by her tri-color fur, giving her an expressive, almost knowing look that melts hearts instantly. Exploring is more than just a hobby for Paige; it's her full-time job. Whether it's investigating the mysterious rustle of a paper bag, scaling the dizzying heights of the sofa cushions, or pouncing on the elusive "red dot," she approaches every adventure with fearless enthusiasm. She's a little shadow that darts, leaps, and tumbles through her world, soaking up every new sight and smell. Go to Linktr.ee/ncfnescue for an application for PAIGE. ##2529026##

Story
Selena is 7 to 8 months old. She is a gray tiger stripped tabbyco. She has a very distinctive path of peach on her forehead. She's more of a dilute calico kind of tabbyco. She is very playful and sweet with just a touch of shyness. She came from an outside location where she was lucky to get any food at all. But that doesn't stop her because she just wants to be loved and play. She's fixed and up to date on her shots and also negative on Feline Leukemia and FIV. If you are interested in adoption or a meet and greet please contact angelstotheanimals.org. Must be 22 to apply

Story
07-20-24 Princess is a 2 yr old kitty that was saved from a Citgo gas station. She was living a barn life with indoor/outdoor access and was attacked by a coyote. It was touch and go at the vet for 10 days, but Princess rallied and made it through. Prior to the attack she was semi-feral, but during her recovery she learned to love her caretaker and now wants nothing more than to be a beloved lap kitty. She is a bit wobbly from neurological aftereffects, but requires no extra care and needs no continual or additional treatment. She is still able to climb and jump, though a little less gracefully than before. Since she now loves her person so much we would like to find her a permanent home where she can get that love and attention she now wants. She loves other cats and a home with another cat would probably be an easier transition for her. We need someone that will give her time and patience to acclimate to a new situation. That person will be rewarded by having a wonderful, loving companion. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV. Princess is considered a Tabico. She's a calico color with a tabby coat pattern. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting one of our cats, please visit our website and fill out an application: www.northmeckanimalrescue.org

Story
Meet Gracie! This girl is super sweet and has learned that people aren't so bad. Her foster has been working with her to show this sweetheart that getting pet feels good and that no one is going to hurt her. Her foster says there is still a little work to do with Gracie to get her more comfortable. However, if she is lucky enough to find her new person and forever home sooner than later and they will give her the same patience and understanding, she is going to make a wonderful companion. Gracie came to us scared and reactive to noises and people. She would try to get as small as possible and find a place to hide. Now that her foster has been working with her, she comes out of hiding excited to see her foster and ready for her favorite canned food. The person that chooses Gracie would need to understand her needs and love her with patience. It can be difficult for some cats that come into rescue after being in survivial mode most of their life. It take a while for them to learn that they no longer have to be "on guard." She would benefit from a home where it's more quiet with no expectations. It took Gracie about 3 weeks  with her foster to show that she likes pets and attention and realized that her foster wasn't going to hurt her. Given time to acclimate in a new place she'll be greeting you and without a doubt, she will be a wonderful companion.  NOTE: If you are not a serious applicant, DO NOT fill out an application. PAR is a volunteer only rescue and it takes several volunteers to process and respond to each applicant. Our feline's are ready for their forever homes and applicant's that are not serious about adopting can delay them getting adopted or cause them to miss a real opportunity for a home.  Your donation to PAR towards adopting your new feline friend covers the cost of their spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations and testing for (FIV) Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and (FeLV) Feline Leukemia Virus, microchip and registration.  ##2272795##
