MAY is a special cat that needs a special adopter. Found in the Ingles’ parking lot and brought to the SCHS when she was only about two weeks old, she was very sick. Her left eye remains cloudy and she sometimes has a bout of URI that's cleared with antibiotics. We wish we knew what May had experienced before coming to us. She is an energetic girl that plays rough (and when you least expect it); she cannot go to a home with small children for this reason. She wants affection only when she initiates it. She really could use other cats in the home, but they have to be able to tolerate her outbursts. She is currently in foster care and her very-experienced foster mom can share even more information about her. The standard adoption fee is $120 cash or $125 debit/credit. These are 5 rescued kittens about 7 to 8 weeks old. All are very sweet and good with kids. They were rescued from a building after the momma could not take care of them anymore . Had 1 st shots and dewormed and cleared of parasites . Hey, how are you doing? Would love if they could be adopted in pairs but they will be great fur family members.

Charlene was discovered at an abandoned restaurant with a collar severely embedded under her arm. After undergoing two surgeries, she has fully recovered. From the very beginning, she showed her rescue foster how thankful she was. However, Charlene has experienced trauma during her time on the streets, and as a result, she needs to be the only cat in the household. She may be a one-person cat, showing a preference for trusting females more than males. Due to her past experiences, she may often greet strangers with a hiss. However, if she chooses you as her person, she becomes truly affectionate, loving to curl up in your lap or snuggle with you in bed. Charlene is very food motivated but requires a special limited ingredient diet. She is estimated to be 3-5 years old and still enjoys playing with wand toys, as well as mice, balls, and springs. Don't forget to provide her with scratching posts and condos that she loves. Charlene is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped. She will need an experienced cat adopter who has no children or other pets.
