Calico kittens & cats in Lancaster, Ohio

Coco came to us from a family friend who found her as a stray and was looking for a home for her. We had moved into a farmhouse in the country and agreed to take her thinking she would be a good barn kitty. As you can see, she is a "fancy" cat and outdoor life was not for her. We have kept her in the house and have tried to make it work with her and our dog but Coco prefers all of the attention. She is cat who just wants to be around her people. She is litter box trained and doesn't jump on counters but will jump up on the couch beside you for some gentle pets on the head (no stomach rubs please). She will occasionally go outside for a few minutes if it's a nice day but enjoys napping and having treats the best. She doesn't pay much attention to our other indoor/outdoor cat but does not like the energy that dogs have around her. She would be a great companion in a quiet home. She just started taking thyroid medication 2x a day and thinks it is a treat and gobbles it up easily.

She is a very loving and affectionate cat once she gets comfortable with you. She loves being held like a baby and will happily cuddle up with you. At night, she likes to sleep on a pillow above or right next to you, so she’s definitely a companion who loves being close. She loves making biscuits on top of you when y’all are getting ready for bed. She can be a little timid at first and may take some time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable and trusts you, her loving personality really comes out. She also enjoys spending time outside. When I take her outside, she usually stays close to the house and doesn’t wander off, and I always go outside with her. She would do best with someone who is patient and willing to give her a little time to feel comfortable. Once she trusts you, she is a sweet, loving, and affectionate cat who loves being around her person.

I got her when she was just a few weeks old from a neighbor, I’m not 100% sure but she’s between 1-2 years old. She is very playful and I unfortunately don’t have the time to be home and play with her so I’m looking for someone to give her the playful happy home she deserves! She’s a very energetic and happy cat. She was playful with our older cat but she was lazy so they didn’t get along 😞
