DOB: 6/10/2024  Maple Syrup is as rich and golden in spirit as her name suggests. This beautiful calico has been through a lot — she arrived at the shelter with a large abdominal wound — but with gentle care and time, she’s healed and is now ready to pour her sweetness into a forever home. Like real maple syrup, she doesn’t rush. Maple Syrup is a bit shy, preferring slow approaches and soft voices, but for those patient enough to earn her trust, she offers a quiet, comforting kind of love that sticks with you long after the moment has passed. She’s looking for someone who understands that the best things in life take time — a calm home, kind hands, and a heart ready to let her sweetness flow. If you’re willing to move at her pace, Maple Syrup just might be the sweetest thing to ever come into your life.  Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! Neko is genuinely the cuddliest cat I’ve ever met. He loves being rubbed and played with. He loves laying ontop of you and nuzzling his head into yours. He is very energetic and loves to play. We rescued neko, he was originally homeless. He seems to appreciate any love, food, or attention he can get lol. Unfortunately my housing situation is causing me to put neko up for adoption. We just found out my roomate is pretty allergic to cats and it’s been frustrating for her to deal with and I want her to feel comfortable in our home. On top of the fact that I am moving away for grad school soon and will be unable to take him with me. I really want neko to go to a loving family/person who truly wants him. He is a special cat 🥹.

She is a very loving and affectionate cat once she gets comfortable with you. She loves being held like a baby and will happily cuddle up with you. At night, she likes to sleep on a pillow above or right next to you, so she’s definitely a companion who loves being close. She loves making biscuits on top of you when y’all are getting ready for bed. She can be a little timid at first and may take some time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable and trusts you, her loving personality really comes out. She also enjoys spending time outside. When I take her outside, she usually stays close to the house and doesn’t wander off, and I always go outside with her. She would do best with someone who is patient and willing to give her a little time to feel comfortable. Once she trusts you, she is a sweet, loving, and affectionate cat who loves being around her person.
