Story
Lola is absolutely the sweetest cat ever. She is house trained, very good with other animals, and in all just such a loveable cat. Unfortunately, she is very very anxious and I don't live in a place where I feel she can thrive because there are so many people all the time, and I am gone more than the average person and I have to take her with me. She needs a place where she can adjust and settle. If I felt that I could give her that, I would not be putting her up. She deserves a great home with people that love her just as much as I do, hence the no fee. She is the closest to perfect anything can be, she just requires a setting I can't give her with my lifestyle.

Story
We rescued 2 female kittens and before their appointment to get spayed, one got out and got pregnant. She had 7 kittens and we were able to find good homes for all but this one. She was born May 8th and is on dry kitten food. She's adventurous and playful but also likes to cuddle. Mother is black, father is orange. We love her but with an elderly dog, two cats, chickens, and two young kids we just don't have room or time for another pet and want her to go to a good home. We've been calling her Lilith but you don't have to stick with that.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Whitney is an older diva who is looking for a quiet home where she is the main attraction. She is shy with new people but once she gets comfy she'll make a great movie watching companion. Whitney enjoys bird watching and lots of scratches from her humans. She would do best as an only cat because she prefers to be the star of the house.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application today at https://fflah.rescuegroups.org//forms July 19, 2024, 10:31 am

Story
Amora is a very sweet girl, around 8-9 years old. She can be pretty shy when getting to know new people but will soon open up and tends to be very talkative. Would do best in a home without other animals as she currently does not get along well with our other cats and has not done well with dogs in the past either.

Story
Cinnamon Twist is a beautiful 3-year old female kitty who was found on Second Street in Marietta Ohio on October 29, 2023 after she had been hit by an automobile. Fortunately for this sweet cat, a compassionate Good Samaritan acted quickly and brought her to HSOV and the safety of our shelter. Cinnamon Twist has an unusual combination of colors/patterns. She has a pretty face with gray/beige/white markings which are characteristic of a dilute calico kitty. She has a brown/bronze coat and a long ringed tail which is more characteristic of a Torbie/Tabby kitty. Our kind HSOV Kennel Techs gave Cinnamon preliminary first-aid care that afternoon/evening, and she was taken to one of wonderful local veterinarians the following day. X-rays showed that Cinnamon had suffered a fractured pelvis and had a broken femoral bone. She returned to our shelter on October 30th and where she rested comfortably with pain medications for several weeks .. And Cinnamon spent the next five months recuperating while her fractured pelvis mended. We posted this beautiful girl's pictures on Petfinder and Adoptapet as well as our HSOV Facebook pages when she arrived in hopes that she had a loving family who was looking for her and would know she was safely in our shelter .. But nobody called or came looking for Cinnamon. Cinnamon was given vaccinations on March 7, 2024, and she was given booster vaccines on March 23, 2024. These updated photos of Cinnamon Twist were taken on March 24, 2024. She is currently in our Jungle Room (where most of our adoptable cats are housed) and is loving attention and extra TLC from our kennel techs, visitors, and volunteers. Cinnamon has a sweet, outgoing personality and is eager to come to the front of her cage when she anticipated even the slightest chance for a little action (smile). Because of her injuries last Fall, she is confined to her cage since we don't want to put her at risk if she should happen to take a 'leap of faith' from her cage. Cinnamon Twist has recently been treated for a urinary tract infection and bowel incontinence, and she has finished antibiotic treatments. We hope to have her spayed in the near future and find her her a terrific home either through adoption or rescue. Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation. UPDATE: Cinnamon Twist was spayed on May 8, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Story
Feyre is a sweet 3-year old female Dilute Calico kitty who was brought to the HSOV on May 16, 2024 by a Good Samaritan whom Feyre had befriended at the Colonial Terrace Apartment complex in Marietta Ohio. Feyre was given food/water and a safe indoor bed while the Good Samaritan tried to locate her family. Feyre has a pale gray/beige/white short smooth coat in a dilute calico pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful face with soft innocent eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. This little lady has an affectionate, easygoing personality. Feyre was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on May 18, 2024. She weighed 8.1 lbs that day. If Feyre is not reclaimed, we will have her spayed and find her a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue. Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation. UPDATE: Feyre was taken to a clinic for her spay procedure on May 28, 2024. Feyre did not undergo that surgery after being examined by a veterinarian who made the decision that she was already spayed. Feyre was given rabies vaccine while at the clinic. She weighed 8 lbs that day.
