Story
DOB: December 12, 2017 Pooch is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Pooch is a gentle soul who deserves a home filled with patience, tenderness, and peace. Though shy and anxious at first, once she begins to trust, her sweet and affectionate nature slowly shines through in the most heartwarming ways. She loves quiet moments, cozy naps, soft brushing sessions, and the comfort of belly rubs when she feels safe enough to fully relax. Pooch will often let you know when she’s ready for affection, rolling onto her back or softly meowing for attention. She enjoys her scratching post, the occasional wand toy play sessions and having calm spaces where she can retreat and recharge. Pooch is looking for a calm and understanding home where she can finally feel secure. She would do best as the only pet, or with another animal who shares her very gentle temperament. Pooch doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but when she feels comfortable, she may curl up beside you or rest peacefully on your lap. Pooch has been through a great deal, and what she needs most now is someone kind, steady, and loving who will give her the time and safety to blossom into the beautiful companion she is meant to be. Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $225.

Story
DOB: Estimated 2018 Adorable Ali is all about affection!  She is a sweet-tempered gal who thrives on pets and snuggles. Ali is a pretty cat with distinct Calico markings and big, expressive eyes. She is new to our rescue, and we are still learning about her personality. However, Ali has already demonstrated that she has an easy-going and good-natured way about her. Within a day of being in her foster home, she was happy to explore her new surroundings and was very content to sit on the windowsill and enjoy the goings on outside.  As Ali is obviously people-oriented, she would do well in a home with a mature family who can appreciate and participate in her cuddle sessions. She would be content in a single pet home.Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca. Adoption fees are $250.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $300.00 for kittens, and $175.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). The fee includes: veterinary health check, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatments NOTE: Young kittens may not have had their spay/neuter surgery and final vaccinations at the time of their bio posting, but they are included in the adoption fee.  July 4, 2026, 3:10 pm

Story
Hi there, our names are Sandy (grey tabby, short-haired) and Roger (dark grey, long-haired)!We’re a pair of bonded brothers looking for our new family together. We’re pretty calm and relaxed, hoping to find a home that’s also calm and relaxed! Sandy is a bit overweight and we have history of urinary blockage, so we would be a great match for a quiet, adult-only home with people who are comfortable with monitoring and continuing our urinary care. We’ll repay you by lounging around the home very handsomly!OUR IDEAL HOME INVOLVES... CHILDREN: We would prefer an adult-only home.OTHER CATS: We might get along with other calm, quiet cats, but we prefer each other!DOGS: No, we would be happier in a dog-free home. SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT US... FIRST TIME CAT OWNERS: Possibly, but even better if you have experience monitoring urinary issues!ACTIVITY LEVEL: Low-medium.SPECIAL DIET: Yes, we require a urinary-friendly food. DECLAWED: Yes, front paws.If you think we would make a good match for your home, please click the `Adopt Me` button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Ms Frizzle!I arrived at GHS pregnant and ready to be a mom! I`ve been the best mom according to my foster parents. And now that my kittens are older, it`s time for me to find my new home! I didn`t start as a lap cat, but after watching my kittens curl up on laps, I decided to give it a try and sure enough it`s a pretty cool thing! So now I may rest on your lap, or right beside you while I purr and make biscuits. I have been a protective momma, so anytime I`ve seen or heard a cat or dog, I`ve not been a very happy lady. My GHS friends suspect that once I`m no longer worried about protecting my little ones, I might be comfortable with a respectful and easy-going dog, but I likely be most happy happy as the only pet in the home. I can be a chatty lady, so I hope you`ll find my trills and meows endearing!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: I could be a good match with respectful children.OTHER CATS: No thank you, I’d like to be the only cat in the home. DOGS: I could be a good match with a calm, cat-savvy dog after a proper introduction. SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...FIRST TIME CAT OWNERS: Yes.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. If you think I would make a good match for your home, please click the `Adopt Me` button to apply!
