Story
Eadie Female DOB Oct 31, 2018 (7 years young!) Spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV Negative *Meet her at Pet Valu Ira Needles starting April 17 after 1pm Eadie is a love bug! She came to us when her person passed away. She was found under their bed and taken to a rural pound. She was terrified there, the sights, smells and sounds were overwhelming so we were contacted and bailed her out! Since being in our care she has shown us just how sweet she is! She loves being pet and adores being brushed! Catnip toys are her all time favourite. She needs a quiet home where she will get lots of attention and be allowed to sleep in her persons bed--which is where she can often be found. She certainly enjoys a cuddle! Eadie is a voluptuous girl at 18.5lbs. She needs help to very slowly lose this extra weight. Oddly enough she isn't a big foodie and can be a little picky even. More playtime and a healthy diet should help her shed some weight in a new home. She isnt interested in other cats and we feel she would love being queen of her castle as the only pet. Story
Jamie is a very vocal little gal. She loves to call for her human asking for attention, then play hard to get! She likes to be pet, butt scratches are her favorite. She loves to play with her ball tower and chase anything that moves. She is an independent girl and is happy to watch the birds and squirrels outside the window. She would like her forever indoor home to have lots of activity, but also a quiet space for her. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!
