Story
Faerie is a very sweet girl, who came to us as a pregnant and homeless mama. She is stunningly gorgeous, and now that her babies are grown, she is looking for a new home of her own. She needs to be with someone who is home a lot and would be fine with another pet. Faerie is very well behaved and doesn’t get into anything she shouldn’t. She likes to hang out with you and talk to you, making lots of soft kitty chit chat. She enjoys a good pompom and loves to be held and have her head scratched. Her personality is slowly emerging and once she’s away from her kittens, her true playful side will shine Looking for a little magic in your life? Apply online at CompassionForPaws.ca

Story
Say hello to sweet, beautiful Dakota! Dakota is five years old and would be suited for a calm environment where she can be given the time and space to warm up and settle in. Once she comes out of her shell, Dakota is an energetic, engaging girl who loves to play with toys! Her purrfect home would be with a family with a few adults to lavish her with affection -- she is a lap cat and a cuddler! However, we do NOT recommend homes with young children or timid / nervous pets. Dakota is an assertive boss kitty who may become possessive of her human, and is sure to dominate the household. That said, she gets along fine with other strong, self-assured cats.

Story
Hello there, my name is Clyde!I`m a curious and mellow feline, gently exploring my surroundings and sniffing out hidden treats. I can be a timid guy when we first meet, but give me a moment. I`m just taking my time to get to know you. My sweet and cuddly nature comes out once I`m comfortable and I`ve got a lot of love to give. A zen environment is where I thrive best - cozy naps, staring out the window, peaceful daydreams. Adopting me means you`ll have a loyal companion, a confidante, and a friend for life. I promise, you won`t regret it.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: I would be the best match in a quiet home with no young children. OTHER CATS: I could be a good match with a friendly, laid-back cat who will give me my space if I need it.DOGS: I could be a good match with a calm, cat-savvy dog after a proper introduction.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...FIRST TIME CAT OWNERS: YesACTIVITY LEVEL: MediumIf you think I would make a good match for your home, click the `Adopt me` button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Kiwi!I`m a gentle lad who enjoys a good neck scratch and playing with dangly toys. I grew up in a barn but that doesn`t mean I`m not learning to love lap snuggles. I am not a kitty who wants to be picked up and held, and the carrier isn`t my favorite thing. But hopefully with a dedicated human, I can learn to be ok with the carrier and scary things like vet visits. With a bit of time to warm up, you will be sure to hear and fall in love with my sweet little meow.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: No, I would prefer a calmer home given I can still be timid and am working on my confidence.OTHER CATS: Yes, with a friendly cat who would enjoy a friend. DOGS: Yes, with a respectful dog.FIRST-TIME CAT OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous cat experience.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. If you think I would make a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Simba!I`m a loving and charming lad but didn`t feel quite myself when I first arrived at GHS; I was rather stressed. The humans here have been very nice and are taking good care of me, so I`ve been comfy enough to show my affectionate side. I would love my new humans to be patient with me in case I need some time to feel safe in my new home. It shouldn`t take me long before I`m snuggling on your lap for some pets and lovin`. MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Older and respectful should be ok.OTHER CATS: Yes, with a friendly cat and a gradual introduction.DOGS: Yes, with a respectful dog.FIRST-TIME CAT OWNERS: I might do best with someone who has previous cat experience.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. If you think I would make a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!
