Story
Meet Oscar – A Sweet and Cuddly Companion Looking for a Loving Home Age: 8 years old Breed: Domestic Tabby Shorthair Personality: Affectionate, gentle, and loves people Oscar is a beautiful orange and white cat with a big heart. He’s 8 years old and has been a beloved part of my life, but due to personal circumstances, I can no longer provide the care and attention he deserves. He’s incredibly cuddly, calm, and loves being around people. He brings a lot of comfort and warmth to any room he’s in. He’s the kind of cat that just gets you. I’m looking for a new home where Oscar will be loved and cared for as much as he deserves—preferably with someone who enjoys snuggles and calm companionship. He would thrive in a home where he’s not left alone too long and can bond with his new humans. If you’re interested in giving this sweet boy a forever home, please reach out. I’d be happy to answer any questions or arrange a time for you to meet him.

Story
Keshe came to Abbey Cats with her siblings when her owner unfortunately passed away. Keshe is very clingy and loves climbing, especially her humans! She loves to stay perched on your shoulders observing her surroundings or laying in your lap while she’s sleeping. When she’s not snuggled up next to you, she’s wrestling with her siblings and chasing after her favourite spring toys. If Keshe sees you holding one of her siblings she will meow demanding to get cuddles too! She and her brother and sisters are currently living with a small family. Keshe needs to be adopted with one of her siblings (Aliyah, Anani, Kineret) and is better suited in a home with older children. She is still young and learning gentle manners so a family with patience and understanding in how to redirect that behaviour when she gets over stimulated is ideal. Keshe would be okay living with other respectful cats and dogs as long as they don’t mind her high energy and playfulness. Keshe would be best matched with Kineret or Aliyah Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company. Aliyah came to Abbey Cats with her three siblings when her owner unfortunately passed away. Aliyah is very affectionate and loves attention from her humans and can be very vocal. When she’s all tired from playing with her siblings, she loves being carried in her human’s arms or sleeping in your lap. If Aliyah sees you holding one of her siblings she will meow demanding to get cuddles too! She and her siblings are currently living with a small family. Kineret came to Abbey Cats with her siblings when her owner unfortunately passed away. Kineret is the sweetest kitten and loves to explore! She loves wrestling with her siblings and running through the cat tunnel. When she’s all tired out from playing/exploring, she prefers to curl up on your lap to sleep. She and her siblings are currently living with a small family. Kineret needs to be adopted with one of her siblings (Aliyah, Anani, Keshe) and is better suited in a home with older children. Anani came to Abbey Cats with his three sisters when his owner unfortunately passed away. Anani is very energetic and playful and loves wresting with his siblings or sitting perched up on a cat tower. Anani loves to sit on your feet or laying in your lap when he’s ready to sleep. Anani is the loudest of his siblings and will meow to get your attention when he’s hungry, wants to play or wants to be held. He and his siblings are currently living with a small family. Story
This young gal came into our care pregnant, has had her time to be a momma and is now ready for her furever home. She can be very affectionate, and also very not affectionate! She took a long time to trust her foster momma, but is still wary of being picked up. She does enjoy a good petting and chin scratches and will sit nearby, but not snuggle. She is not a fan of dogs and children should be 10 or older so not to overwhelm her. A quiet indoor home with another quiet kitty would be ideal for her. She has been flea treated and dewormed, is FIV/FelV negative, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!

These pups are in Guelph, Ontario too!
