Story
Bella found her way into the garage of one of our volunteers at around 5 weeks old. She is a vocal gal who loves to yell for attention and snuggles. She's playful, enjoys chasing and wrestling with her foster kitty friends. She loves kisses and cuddles and sleeping in your arms and is always purring. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Story
DOB: Dec 2, 2024 Garina is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Garina is a beautiful petite marble brown tabby girl with a sweet and gentle presence. She is a quiet girl who would prefer a home without barking dogs, as loud noises can be overwhelming for her. She may be a little shy in a new environment at first, but with your patience, reassurance, and a few Temptations treats, she warms up quickly. Garina is a very affectionate girl who truly enjoys pets, attention, and gentle head rubs. She loves sitting beside you and soaking up all the love you are willing to give. She does very well with other cats at the adoption centre and has no trouble sharing her space or resources. She is currently eating Science Diet adult wet and dry food and is not a picky eater at all. Garina has a healthy appetite and enjoys a variety of cat treats. When it comes to playtime, she is happy with any cat toys you offer her. Garina would do wonderfully in a home with a resident cat or with loving humans who will provide her with plenty of enrichment and affection. She is very friendly and has the sweetest temperament. Please visit the adoption centre to meet this lovely girl.

Story
5 Years old Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Toby is a very cute cat who loves to lounge in the sun. He takes time to open up to new households and new people but once he does he is very affectionate. He loves to knock around and play with fast moving targets, especially a paper ball. He doesn't like being handled or picked up too much, he much prefers to be handled on his own terms. Most of his day is spent sleeping, grooming and chasing around paper balls. He also inexplicably loves to rub himself on the hallway rug. As to his behaviour with others, not sure if he is good with children and other cats or dogs since he has only always lived in a one person, no pets household his entire life. He warms up to others after some initial trepidation, but once he does, he is a gem. He has lived in apartments but loves to walk out in the hallway and explore. He is litter trained and is used to apartment living. Has a bit of separation anxiety in that he becomes very clingy once you are back from a trip. Tends to eventually follow you into whichever room in the house you are currently situated in and curl up there. Toby is up-to-date on vaccines. Toby is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. Story
Don’t let the name fool you, Shrimpy is anything but small in personality! This affectionate little boy is a snuggle champion who loves being scooped up, cuddled, and carried around. The moment he sees you settle at your desk, he’ll spring onto your lap, ready to supervise your work (or distract you with his adorable face). Shrimpy is also extremely food-motivated, and mealtime is his absolute favorite event of the day. When he’s not eating or cuddling, he’s usually engaged in a spirited play-fight with his sister Sharky, always with good humor and kitten silliness.Sweet, social, and endlessly loving, Shrimpy is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a cuddly, lap-loving kitten!***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application.
