Story
Wilma is one of many siblings born outside. She is a darling, loving little girl always ready for a chin scratch and cuddle. She is playful and holds her own with her brothers. She would be a great addition to any family! She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Story
Ginny is a very smart girl. She was the last of siblings to be born, but the first at everything else. She was the first to eat solid food, use the litter pan, climb out of their enclosure, plus many other things. She loves to run and play with her siblings, but is often content to cuddle on her foster grandma's lap and just watch. She has never met a child or dog, but would be fine with proper introductions. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and have been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Story
Wasabi is one of many kittens who began his life outdoors, without human touch. He's now a sweet little guy who has changed his spicy ways! He loves cuddles with his foster momma, belly rubs and chin scratches. Chasing crinkle balls and wand toys are favorites! He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Story
This little one and her brother Griffin were found outside, unwell. She has fully recovered and is healthy and ready for her new family. She loves to play with her brother, is active and adventurous, but still a bit shy and would be best in quiet home with another kitty. She likes cuddles and has a big purr engine! She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Griffin was found outside with his sister Gwen, both feeling unwell. He is fully recovered and healthy after antibiotics, good food and lots of love. He is the bravest little explorer, always playful and full of energy and always ready for a good snuggle with his human! Story
Beth is a quiet independent girl. She prefers to sit high up on her cat tree and just watch the world around her. She will snuggle and play with her brother Blake, but does not connect with any of the other animals in her foster home. She will accept a quick pet, but is not a cuddly kitty. She will do best with her brother Blake, or as the only pet in a quiet home, given time, space and understanding. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Story
Van is a healthy, affectionate adult cat whom I've had since he was a kitten. He was amusingly mischievous in his youth but has settled into 'adulting' very well. He is perfect for someone who has a lot of love to give and receive. Like all cats, he sleeps a fair bit, but when awake, likes to be in your company -- be it snuggled up, or just across the room. A lovely fellow, we have enjoyed a lot of great times together. My new partner is terribly allergic to cats. I know Van will bring a lot of joy to someone new. He has had consistent and excellent veterinary care his entire life. Good eater, very clean and tidy (with self-grooming, and with regards to the litter box.) Low maintenance and lots of love!

Story
Meet Gary, a truly special boy with a little bit of a grumpy looking face but with a personality that couldn’t be more different from what it suggests. Don’t be fooled by his expression; underneath that serious look is a very friendly, very sweet cat just waiting to show you who he really is. Gary is the kind of cat who warms up beautifully with a little kindness. Offer him some pets, and you’ll quickly discover his secret talent: a powerful but soft purr engine that starts up almost instantly and keeps going as long as the affection does. He loves connection and has such a loving personality. This wonderful boy is looking for an equally special home, someone who will appreciate what an affectionate cat he truly is. Gary would thrive with a person or family who understands that trust takes a moment, but is absolutely worth the wait!If you’re looking for a cat with personality, heart, and a little bit of misunderstood charm, Gary might just be your perfect match! Come meet him today! At HSKWSP we do not assign our dogs or cats with a breed as we cannot guarantee the specific breed that they are. All dogs are labelled as small, medium and large breed and cats are labelled as DSH, DMH and DLH based on their characteristics.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Story
Bob Jr. is a sweet but very timid little gentleman, like, full-on tuxedo and everything, as if he’s permanently dressed for a very fancy event but would rather not be perceived at it. At first, he’s more of a quiet observer than a participant. He might hang back, watching the world like a tiny, black-and-white philosopher, trying to decide if it’s safe to join in. New things can be a bit overwhelming, so he takes his time (and honestly, who can blame him? Life can be a lot). But if you’re patient and kind, Bob Jr. will slowly start to come out of his shell. He’ll inch a little closer, accept a gentle pet, and eventually decide that you are, in fact, trustworthy. He enjoys chin scratches and a tasty treat now and then. No drama, no chaos, just a shy little tuxedo guy learning that the world isn’t so scary after all.Bob Jr. would do best in a calm, patient home with cat savvy adults that understands that bravery doesn’t always look loud, sometimes it looks like a cat leaning into some love. And when he finally curls up beside you in his little tux like he’s been yours forever? That’s a moment worth waiting for!At HSKWSP we do not assign our dogs or cats with a breed as we cannot guarantee the specific breed that they are. All dogs are labelled as small, medium and large breed and cats are labelled as DSH, DMH and DLH based on their characteristics.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets.
