Bumble(bee) was found alone outside, without any family. He was 'adopted' into the "B" family and received 3 sisters and a momma. He's a sweet little guy that needs a bit of time to trust, but is learning that indoors is safe and gentle touch is nice. He loves to play, eat and repeat! He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Beth is a quiet independent girl. She prefers to sit high up on her cat tree and just watch the world around her. She will snuggle and play with her brother Blake, but does not connect with any of the other animals in her foster home. She will accept a quick pet, but is not a cuddly kitty. Cassandra is a lovely grey tabby who was living outside in Northern Ontario with various other relatives, until one day she walked into someone's enclosed porch and made friends. After a long day of travel, she arrived at an AbbeyCats foster home incredibly scared. However, after a couple of days of decompression, Cassandra has opened up and showed us how much she likes to be inside with people's attention. Cassandra loves to lie on the window sill and watch the bug, birds, and plants. While she is still scared of other noises, she doesn't hide anymore when we walk into her room. She greets us with a meow and begins to purr, rubbing up on our legs and asking for pets. She also loves to be brushed! Cassandra would likely do best in a quiet and calm home with adults and perhaps older teens who will give her the time to feel safe and secure. They will be rewarded by her sweet eyes and enthusiastic purrs. DOB: November 15, 2024

Presenting - Silver! Beautiful Silver came to us as nursing mama. Found homeless with her babies, she moved in when they were only a few days old. Now that her babies are grown and adopted, she is looking for a warm safe place to lay her paws too. Silver will need a very special adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to blossom She has NEVER shown any signs of aggression or protectiveness, even when her babies were small. She is still learning to trust and will come up to her foster for head scratches once in awhile. But she is hyper aware of sounds and afraid of anything new. You can't run over and pick her up - but she will come to you if she trusts you and shes in the right mood. She needs someone who has patience and time to spend with her. Her ideal home would be a quiet and calm place with one or two humans who are home a lot of the time. Presenting Jade and Spring! DOB July 15/23 These sisters are lovely! Full of sillyness on occasion, they are mostly sweet, quiet and very well behaved. Jade is the tortie girl and her sister Spring is a boldly marked tabby...Yes! They did actually come from the same mama! Both cats are calm and non demanding. They don't ask for affection, but are happy when you offer a good scritch or gentle petting. They are good with other cats and with gentle dogs. They have not been around children but would be fine with older kids. They are not the kind of kitties that you are going to pick up and carry around, but if you are working from home, they will stay in the office with you and keep you company. Van is a healthy, affectionate adult cat whom I've had since he was a kitten. He was amusingly mischievous in his youth but has settled into 'adulting' very well. He is perfect for someone who has a lot of love to give and receive. Like all cats, he sleeps a fair bit, but when awake, likes to be in your company -- be it snuggled up, or just across the room. A lovely fellow, we have enjoyed a lot of great times together. My new partner is terribly allergic to cats. I know Van will bring a lot of joy to someone new. He has had consistent and excellent veterinary care his entire life. Good eater, very clean and tidy (with self-grooming, and with regards to the litter box.) Low maintenance and lots of love!
