Story
Meet Marv, a sweet and resilient cat who`s ready to find his forever home! After a rough start in life, Marv has flourished with lots of love and care. Although he has an abnormality of his front paw from a past fracture and a small nasal polyp, these don`t slow him down—he`s as sweet as can be and full of charm. Marv has tested positive for FIV, so he’s looking for a home where he can be the one and only cat, or with other FIV-positive companions. He`ll come with information sheets to help guide his new family in giving him the best care possible. We can also have his vet records sent to the adopters vet prior to adoption upon request. If you`re ready to open your heart to this special boy, Marv can`t wait to meet you!**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. Story
These siblings were born approximately June 2/21. Chloe and Colby are very sweet kittens. They were rescued from an outdoor situation where they were probably born to an outdoor stray and the resident who found them called for some help to rescue them. They are still very shy of people in their foster home but will enjoy pets while eating. It may take some time for their new family to gain their trust but we feel in time they will settle down. They will come and eat close to the humans and they do enjoy the company of the resident cat. They are getting used to the dog slowly. They will definitely need a patient home most likely a quiet home would be best for these two. Please apply if interested in this pair. They would probably love a quiet home with another calm cat to show them the ropes. Chloe and Colby is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
This sweet, 3-year-old, former momma is very inquisitive and sweet. We’re confident that this sweet girl was previously a house cat, but we think may have had some unfortunate experiences with people in the past. She may take time to adjust to meeting her new family, but once she does, she loves attention. She is very inquisitive about life, and loves watching TV! She is great with other cats as she has offered no issues with her foster’s three cats. She will make an amazing companion to an ideally slower household, or potentially a family, who is understanding of her body language and accepts that she may need time to fully trust them. Her foster is happy to teach Shiloh’s new family her body language cues to set everyone up for success.. Shiloh is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
Dahlia is the mama of the four kittens. She is approximately 1 to 2 years old. She came terrified, unsure how to behave around people but that changed when she learned she was getting the help she needed and her sweet personality bloomed. She has a lovely voice ranging from soft meows, chirps, and trills to let you know she is very happy. Dahlia yearns for attention and loves to weave around your legs, asking for pets on her head and along her back. She is most content when all four feet are on a solid surface. Although Dahlia is not fond of being held or snuggled, she may come to accept in the future that these things are nice too! Dahlia is very good at using her litter box! In fact, she does such a good job at covering her mess that it is recommended that she have a large or covered litter box as she tends to kick litter further than she needs to. Dahlia usually minds her own business and is happy to sleep in a quiet corner away from other pets, so should there be other pets in her new home, they should be introduced slowly and with absolute patience. Dahlia’s kittens are also available for adoption: Teddy, Linus, Percy, and Molly. Each kitten is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
Milo is a 5 month old tabby (as of August 8) who loves to cuddle and is generally pretty chill. He mostly wants to spend time with his human, and will go berserk for string toys. Millie is a 4 month old tabby (as of August 8) with a white nose, and she's cute as a button. She likes to stalk and pounce on her friend Milo and explore any and all surfaces. We would like this pair to be adopted together if possible. We will look for best match. Each kitten is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. Story
This is Junie. She is a young (about 18 months) friendly cat. She is black and white marking on her face that look like little tear drops and a white ring around her black tail. She was found pregnant, living in the backyard of a friend of the rescue. She had 4 beautiful kittens (including Juno and Skye). She was a very good mom and now it’s her turn to find a loving home. She is very friendly and loves to play. She is still a kitten at heart. She gets along with her foster siblings but tends to prefer the company of the boys. She would be happiest in a home with another cat and lots of people to give her the attention she deserves. Junie is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
Yeti is looking for a new home. Just over two years old. I don't know exactly what type of cat she is, but I do know she does have a small percentage of Bengal in her. Yeti is quite shy and will only approach for pets on her own terms. She loves wet food more than dry, but does have a diet of a combination of the two. She loves laying on warm spaces (vents, heating pad). She does great having her nails cut and is not mean at all. She is very skiddish but also very playful. She loves chasing her balls around and being vocal. Yeti is a beautiful girl. She had all her initial vaccinations, but has not been updated for rabies this year. She is fixed and litter trained. We can provide her carrier and whatever wet food we have left for her. She is picky on the type of wet food, I will provide a photo of the kinds she will eat. I think she would thrive as an "only cat" home. She is scared of children and will avoid them completely. Is okay with our dog.
