Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I am Maddie, Maddie the Mermaid to be exact. I got my name because of my love for water! If you run the shower, I am in it. If you turn on the faucet, I'd suggest you have a his and hers - because I am definitely going to be using one! I love to supervise brushing teeth time, washing hands time - any time that I can get into the sink, you will find me there. I have never had a bath, so I am unsure if I would like to swim, but I probably would! I was rescued from a woman who TNR'd me and my siblings. She knew I was a sweetheart, so she reached out to the rescue Castaway Critters to find me a spot, and boy am I glad she did. I currently am in a foster home with my sibling Quincy. While we do not have to be adopted together, it would be nice if we would be! I am very, very playful and have a ton of kitten energy. My perfect home would be with kids or another feline companion. I have never met a dog, but I have heard them in the background, as my foster Mom has 2 dogs! I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and FIV/FELV negative. If you are interested in me, please apply at www.castawaycritters.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 16, 2026, 3:11 pm

Story
Meet Luna, the 4yo Calico. We adopted her from a relative who moved away. She is an absolutely amazing cat, extremely affectionate and cuddly, says hello to you when you come home, loves to play (she's a little ninja, so fast and agile) and is great with our 1.5yo son. Unfortunately, she wants to be the only cat in the house. We tried to acclimate her to our cats, but Luna is a furry guided missile when she sees the other cats. She chases them down relentlessly. She literally scares the pee out of our cats. She is such a friendly, affectionate cat. We wanted to keep her very badly, but in the end its just not a match with our two current cats. Once she gets accustomed to her new surroundings and people (it took her about 2 weeks before she came out of her shell with us) she will want to sit with you, sleep with you, and play as much as you can handle. She likes to kiss you on the nose. Right now she is stuck in our bedroom, and she desperately wants to have a place to herself.

Story
Looking to rehome Melody, she is a 4 year old sweet and loving cat. She loves cuddles and talking to you when she wants attention. She is up to date on all her shots. She unfortunately does need someone who has the time to work with her on proper litter training. We have moved to a location that she can’t be an indoor/outdoor cat and needs someone who has the time to properly train her or plenty of outside space for her to roam. She really is so sweet and gets along with dogs, other cats, and kids. She loves attention and will be sure to add love to your home 😊

Story
Looking for a sweet, gentle soul to brighten your home? Meet Mila, a beautiful 2-year-old petite kitty with a unique coat and an even more special personality. Mila is on the smaller side, giving her that forever-kitten look that makes her absolutely irresistible. She’s a quiet, loving girl who enjoys the simple things in life — watching TV by your side, batting around her favorite toys, and happily chasing them across the room. She loves to cuddle, but she’s also wonderfully independent. Mila enjoys affection and attention, yet she appreciates her personal space too — the perfect balance for someone who wants a loving companion without a constant shadow. Affectionate but independent Mila would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of the family. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will keep you company during cozy nights she's the one.
