Dixie is a beautiful calico with a quiet, gentle nature and a playful side that shines once she feels at home. She loves chasing wand toys, pouncing on springs and stuffed mice, relaxing in her cozy cat perch, and spending hours watching the world from a sunny window. Dixie was raised in foster care from the time she was just a few days old, and she's grown into a sweet, easygoing companion who enjoys gentle affection, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of tasty treats. Churu and Temptations are always a hit! She enjoys interacting with her people in her own way, happily accepting pets and choosing when she'd like to be close. Dixie isn't one to demand attention, making her a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a calm, independent cat with a loving heart.  She won't be the first cat to greet guests at the door, but she'll be the one quietly keeping you company, playing with her favorite toys, and reminding you that trust is one of the greatest gifts a cat can give. Her playful personality and quiet affection make her an incredibly rewarding companion. If you're looking for a low-key friend to share sunny afternoons, bird-watching sessions, and playful moments, Dixie is ready to find the forever home she's been waiting for. Dixie is less than a year old, is spayed, up to date on shots, litter trained, negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Wendy (wjwebber119@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.Hi, I am Pebbles! I was surrendered to Castaway Critters after my Mom passed away. I was surrendered with 4 of my roomies - we were living in a bit of a hoarding situation. I am friendly with other cats and dogs. I would prefer they not be too in my space, but I can definitely co-habitat. I also like children! I love to eat my dry food, and enjoy wet food every now and then. I use my litter box like a champ, also! The wand toy is my favorite! Sometimes, if you get my attention and talk to me - I will chirp back to you! I like to get lots of pets and love, I will headbutt you like a baby goat! I am spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, microchipped and negative for FeLV. I did test positive for FIV, but since I get along well with other cats, I can live in a home with cats that are negative for FIV.  If you are interested in me, please apply at www.castawaycritters.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 17, 2026, 7:02 pm

Story
A sweet stray mama gave birth in my yard, so I brought these little sweethearts inside to raise them safely! They are now 10 weeks old, female, and completely ready for their forever homes. The orange kitten was born with a tiny deformed foot (from her umbilical cord being wrapped around it at birth), but it doesn't bother or slow her down one bit! She plays, runs, and climbs just like any normal kitten. Both girls are super friendly, love to play, aren't picky with their food, and are 100% litter trained! They will make wonderful additions to a loving home.

Both are sisters. I rehomed them as small kittens. Both very friendly and playful. Patches is the multi color and Izzy is the black and one. Would be great if they could go together. They come with their toys, cat tree, litter box, water fountain, automatic feeder. They are being rehomed cause moved and not permitted to have. They are both about 3 months old.

Story
Indigo is 7 years old. We adopted her as a kitten in Delaware. We moved to PA to be closer to family and needed special housing circumstance that forced us to buy a condo with a first floor suite. The condo Assoc. only allows 2 pets. We found homes for both cats, Indigo went to our daughter’s best friend , hoping that she would keep her in the family. But it didn’t work out with her other cat and so we have her back and need to find her a forever home. She is full of personality, hides from strangers, plays all night and is also most affectionate at night as well. We love her so much and hope to find her a home that she can be a big part of! Indigo uses her litter box and I’d free fed her kibble with small wet food feedings. She gets along with other dogs and cats. Reach out for a meet and great if you think you might be her new family!

These cats are in Palmyra, Pennsylvania too!

Story
Archie (orange male) and Tink (grey female) are a bonded pair/brother and sister from same litter. We've had them since they were kittens, both are fixed, super loving, and litter box trained. They are 6.5 years old. Unfortunately they do not get along with 2 of our older dogs (dogs have a high prey drive). They do like our 2 younger dogs who are much calmer so if you have a calm and gentle dog, they would be ok. They have a bedroom upstairs they stay in behind a gate and only come downstairs when the dogs are in their crates or when it's raining. Archie does not like rain so that causes safety concerns when then dogs are out. Our kids used to share space with them so they'd get attention most of the day and could snuggle at night. Our kids are now all grown and out of the house so they are sad and missing affection. Would love to see them go to a good home together where they can explore safely, and get more love throughout the day without being contained to a single room.
