Meet Shayman! This beautifully marked calico is waiting for her home. Shayman loves attention, loves to be petted and will throw herself in front of you on the floor to receive pets. Shayman is "aloof" to other cats. She is in a room with others and she is fine with them but would not want another cat to pest her. She would be perfectly content to be your one and only! Shayman was born in 2016, she is 7 years old. Shayman has a lot of life and love to share with you. Shayman is "ready to go." She is spayed, microchipped, current on Rabies and FVRCP (distemper) vaccinations, was wormed and is FeLV/FIV negative. If interested please fill out an application at 1by1catrescue.org. This beautiful, longhair kitty now spends a great deal of her time inside the foster building, rather than hiding outside in a dog house in the enclosed yard. She is not pettable and may never be, but is much more comfortable now within a reasonable proximity to people. Beatrice (Bea) showed up on our doorstep. She is very sweet, young and ready for a loving owner. She has never scratched us, even playfully, and is very respectful. We got her chipped, vaccinated, and spayed. She unfortunately doesn't get along with our other cat that we adopted. She's very low maintenance and will curl up next to you while you watch a movie. She loves affection and is always available to play.

Marley is a sweet gentle girl that loves to cuddle. She is very affectionate and loyal. I’ve had her for 9 years and for personal reasons can no longer care for her. I want her to find a loving home that appreciates her soft side.

We call her Spotty, but feel free to give her a better name. She is 1 year old. Her owner has had her since a kitten. Her husband passed away and has to move into an apartment and cannot keep all her cats. Spotty is shy, but with some love and socialization, will make a great companion. She gets along well with other cats and loves sitting on the window sill to look outside.
