Calico kittens & cats in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Meet Luna, the 4yo Calico. We adopted her from a relative who moved away. She is an absolutely amazing cat, extremely affectionate and cuddly, says hello to you when you come home, loves to play (she's a little ninja, so fast and agile) and is great with our 1.5yo son with modest supervision. Unfortunately, she wants to be the only cat in the house. We tried to acclimate her to our cats, but Luna is a furry guided missile when she sees the other cats. She literally scares the pee out of our cats. To humans though, she is a curious, affectionate cat. We wanted to keep her very badly, but in the end its just not a match with our two current cats. Once she gets accustomed to her new surroundings and people (it took her about 2-3 weeks before she came out of her shell with us) she will want to sit with you, sleep with you, and play as much as you can handle. She likes to kiss you on the nose. Right now she is stuck in our bedroom, and she desperately wants to have a place to herself.

I would prefer they not be too in my space, but I can definitely co-habitat. I also like children! I love to eat my dry food, and enjoy wet food every now and then. I use my litter box like a champ, also! The wand toy is my favorite! Sometimes, if you get my attention and talk to me - I will chirp back to you! We got Chloe a year and a half ago and we got her from a lady off of Facebook she’s great with kids and other cats just is very scared of dogs they just have to much energy for her liking she’s fun and playful and loves to cuddle her favorite spot to cuddle was with my husband she’s got a thing for male humans she loves to sleep during the day and is up later in the evening

Charlotte and Lenny are a mother and son bonded pair. They must go together and can not be separated. Charlotte is the calico with orange and is a very playful loving girl. She enjoys running in her tubes to chase her spinner and enjoys a nice long cuddle sesh. Lenny is the black and white cat and is an extreme lover boy. Lenny loves to drink water from tubs, taps, and sinks, he also enjoys to hide under the blankets and get warm with you. Both of them love to snuggle in the bed and get all the attention you can offer. We are looking for someone who is wanting two cats because they can not be separated. They have been together since Lenny was born. Lenny is 1 of 3 siblings that made it after birth and Charlotte has clinged on to him. We are looking for someone who will love them and won't have a problem with Charlottes love of pop up tubes or Lenny's weird obsession with running water.

Legend likes sitting in window and viewing outside. Loves cuddling. Likes company. He can bit curious at times to outside watch door of main house.

Mila enjoys affection and attention, yet she appreciates her personal space too — the perfect balance for someone who wants a loving companion without a constant shadow. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Hi i’m Jynx! Some nice people found me in a campground and took me in and took care of me until 2nd Chance could take me in. I’m a little shy at first, but once i start getting pets and chin scratches i melt in your hand and warm up quickly. i’m a quite gentle soul. Im pretty laid back and enjoy just lounging and getting pets. I do enjoy playing with a string wand too!!!! I don’t mind other kitties as long as my people understand slow and steady introductions. I don’t pay any mind to the dogs running around the ranch.
