Cali came from a heartbreaking situation—living outdoors among more than 40 stray cats on a small rural farm. Whether born there or simply surviving there, life was never easy. When Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in to help, Cali was one of the lucky ones who got her second chance. She arrived with a severe eye infection that required surgery to remove her damaged eye, but she hasn’t let that slow her down one bit. Once a feral cat who had never known human affection, Princess Cali has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and trusting companion thanks to her patient foster mom. Charlene was discovered at an abandoned restaurant with a collar severely embedded under her arm. After undergoing two surgeries, she has fully recovered. From the very beginning, she showed her rescue foster how thankful she was. However, Charlene has experienced trauma during her time on the streets, and as a result, she needs to be the only cat in the household. She may be a one-person cat, showing a preference for trusting females more than males. Due to her past experiences, she may often greet strangers with a hiss. However, if she chooses you as her person, she becomes truly affectionate, loving to curl up in your lap or snuggle with you in bed. Charlene is very food motivated but requires a special limited ingredient diet. She is estimated to be 3-5 years old and still enjoys playing with wand toys, as well as mice, balls, and springs. Don't forget to provide her with scratching posts and condos that she loves. Charlene is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped. She will need an experienced cat adopter who has no children or other pets. Did you know back in the day there was a nickname for Stewardesses (now flight attendants)? They were called Sky Angels. Well, this little lady was dumped out near the airport When she was discovered she had 4 kits in tow about 4-5 weeks old. She sought help from the nearest home who happened to be one of our volunteers. While she was as friendly as could be, her kittens were not used to humans. They've come a long way and Delta, Jet, Spirit and Pilot will be coming soon (they need a little more time and are awaiting their surgeries). But our sweet girl Sky Angel is so happy to have her child rearing days behind her. She's ready to find her forever family. This 1-year young beautiful little girl is very sweet and loving. She just wants to hang out with you all the time and she purrs and purrs. Her favorite thing is eating her good food and then chilling with you. Sky Angel has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been spayed. FREE wellness visit with adoption. Casey is approximately 8 months old, very playful, and silly. She is a timid girl, but, with increased socialization, she is starting to overcome her fear. She is really starting to show what a wonderful kitty addition she would be to a family. Casey loves belly rubs, kisses, sleeping in bed with you and squeeze up treats. She gets along fabulously with other kitties. Because it takes Casey time to feel safe and to get to know you, she should have a quieter household, and she would love with a kitty buddy to show ger the ropes. She has not been around dogs, but a quieter dog should be fine. If there are children in the home, 12 years of age and older would be best for her.
