MAY was found in the Ingles’ parking lot and brought to the SCHS. Only about two weeks old, she had a bad URI, to the point that we weren’t sure we could save her left eye. Her foster mom did a fantastic job caring for her, however, and May’s healthy. She is a very energetic girl that plays rough. She cannot go to a home with small children for this reason. She doesn’t like to be held and wants limited affection unless she initiates it. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. Hi, I'm Virginia. I'm about 1-2 years old and am a very sweet dilute calico. I'm from Virginia - that's how I got my name. I am an inside kitty and was abandoned outside along with all the other animals where I lived. The people where we lived moved away and just left all of us behind. I was very sad and trying my best to get by. Luckily, a good Samaritan found me in a field and couldn't leave me behind so she brought me back to NC with her . She's actually my foster mom but she has 3 other kitties so I'm looking for my forever home. I absolutely love giving my foster family all kinds of kisses and cuddles. I love to sleep with my foster mom - she is so good to me. I love to follow her around all the time. I'm a great snuggler. I am already litter box trained and love to be around other kitties. Hi, I'm Dawn and here is my bestie Mason. Our human dad passed away a year ago - we miss him very much. Since then we have been living with my human sister but her husband who has been really nice to us happens to be allergic to us. So we are hoping to find a new home, preferably together. I'm really sweet and am a beautiful calico with a white chest and belly. Sometimes I'm a bit quiet but I love attention and sitting in your lap with Mason - we love to cuddle in our person's lap at the same time. Mason is a black and white long-haired guy. He's extremely affectionate and loves attention. We both love spending time with our people and being petted. We are very attached to each other so we'd like to stay together but understand if we can't. I was born on 5/15/2011 and Mason was born on 1/25/2009. We are both in great health, fixed and up-to-date on our shots. The ideal home for us would be a calm, adult home where we can love our people and give you lots of love. Luna was born 18-19 months ago, when we moved into this house. She stayed around, I built a feeding station and a house for her, and the 2 Toms that were also here, and her 2 kittens born 3 and 1/2 months ago. We have captured the kittens and intend to raise them ourselves, with the 2 older cats we have. We captured Luna Monday October 30, 2023, had her examined, tested, given all shots and spayed. We have her in 2 dog kennels tied together in our garage, she doesn’t act wild or mean, but not very sociable. We would hope someone could raise her in doors, or possibly foster her until she became sociable, and would consider taking her back and raising her, with her kittens and our 2 older cats, 18 years old each. She still has her claws, even though she has been spayed. Thank you.

I'm curious and love to explore. I'm an independent girl and absolutely love food - some say I'm a food glutton. Even though I love food, I have kept my girlish figure - I'm long and skinny.
