On occasion, inquiries are not forwarded automatically to our rescue by Adopt a Pet. If you would like to inquire about one of our kitties, please reach out directly to the rescue. Thank you! Did you know back in the day there was a nickname for Stewardesses (now flight attendants)? They were called Sky Angels. Well, this little lady was dumped out near the airport When she was discovered she had 4 kits in tow about 4-5 weeks old. She sought help from the nearest home who happened to be one of our volunteers. While she was as friendly as could be, her kittens were not used to humans. They've come a long way and Delta, Jet, Spirit and Pilot will be coming soon (they need a little more time and are awaiting their surgeries). But our sweet girl Sky Angel is so happy to have her child rearing days behind her. She's ready to find her forever family. This 1-year young beautiful little girl is very sweet and loving. She just wants to hang out with you all the time and she purrs and purrs. Her favorite thing is eating her good food and then chilling with you. Sky Angel has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been spayed. FREE wellness visit with adoption. Saving Southern Kitties has the most comprehensive vetting standards for adoption. Please visit our kitties at the Rivergate Petsmart in Charlotte and like and visit Saving Southern Kitties Facebook page for an up-to-date list of adoptable kitties. An application is required.

Story
On occasion, inquiries are not forwarded automatically to our rescue by Adopt a Pet. If you would like to inquire about one of our kitties, please reach out directly to the rescue. Thank you. Casey is approximately 8 months old, very playful, and silly. She is a timid girl, but, with increased socialization, she is starting to overcome her fear. She is really starting to show what a wonderful kitty addition she would be to a family. Casey loves belly rubs, kisses, sleeping in bed with you and squeeze up treats. She gets along fabulously with other kitties. Because it takes Casey time to feel safe and to get to know you, she should have a quieter household, and she would love with a kitty buddy to show ger the ropes. She has not been around dogs, but a quieter dog should be fine. If there are children in the home, 12 years of age and older would be best for her. Casey has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been spayed. FREE wellness visit with adoption. Saving Southern Kitties has the most comprehensive vetting standards for adoption. Story
❤️ About Cowboy Cowboy once had a family, but they moved away and left him behind. He ended up in a community cat colony, but he's far too gentle and people-focused for outdoor life. He even tried a cat cafe, but Cowboy has one big preference: he does not like other cats. He's a true lone cowboy who wants his humans all to himself. Despite everything, Cowboy loves people deeply. He follows his feeder around, soaks up head scratches, and even tries to jump into her car for a chance at a new life. He's friendly, affectionate, and enjoys companionship, just not a lap cat. 🏡 Ideal Home Cowboy needs a calm indoor home where he can be the only pet. He's quiet, easy to care for, and will bond closely on his own terms. ✨ Why Adopt? Cowboy is loving, loyal, and ready for the stable home he's never had. He can't wait to ride off into the sunset with his new family. 🤎🐾 To request an adoption application or reach out with questions please email tracybeasleyrdh@yahoo.com

Story
Hugo and Vera came to us from a family who found them in the crawl space of their home. The kittens were about three days old and needed care the family could not provide. Even though the family only had the kittens for a day, they cried when they left them here. You have to appreciate sweet people with big hearts who took the time to find a rescue and give these babies a chance for a happily ever after story. We are calling Hugo and Vera’s birthday September 10, 2025. Both kittens are healthy, playful, and snugglers. They are both litter trained and weaning from a bottle to kitten food. Although orphan kittens that come to our rescue this young miss the opportunity to bond with a mom cat, they completely imprint on humans, which makes them much easier to socialize. And because they were so young, they now associate humans with food, play, affection, and safety. Our strong preference is for bonded kittens to be adopted in pairs, the advantage being you are guaranteed to have a compatible match. They provide comfort, companionship, and a wrestling partner for each other. In the right situation we will consider applications to adopt them separately, but that condition would have to be to a home with another cat or a cat-friendly dog. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, vaccinations, and spay/neuter with a partner clinic. To set up a visit, drop me a note at cherylsferalsandfosters@gmail.com or PM me. If you are considering adopting, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com). In the meantime, you can follow their journey on Facebook: Cheryl’s Ferals and Fosters. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3).
