Holly and Ivy are both FeLV/FIV negative and have received their first vaccine (FVRCP). These sweet babies have a mama; we named her Susanna. She had a rough time of it, but now this young mother is feeling very safe and warm and loved. She, too, will need her forever family, and she's such a good, good mama. She deserves so much LOVE! Susanna is FeLV/FIV negative, has been dewormed, and vaccinated. She was just spayed on December 10.

Oogie is the SWEETEST boy. I’ve never met another cat like him. He’s the only cat I’ve ever come across who actually *wants* to be picked up. He will politely ask to be held by putting his front feet on your leg and meowing. He is very outgoing and loves strangers. Oogie is amazing with people and loves everyone he meets! Strangers are his favorite!! After 7 years of being our beloved pet, he started attacking our other cats. We have consulted a behaviorist, tried medications, and taken every possible piece of advice to try to change his behavior, but it has gotten to the point that we have to keep him separated from the other cats, and if he gets out, he immediately attacks them. It breaks our hearts to give him up, but it just isn’t fair to him or the others anymore. He isn’t happy being locked in the bedroom all day, and the others aren’t happy living in fear of him. Of course, he will need to go to a home where he can be the only cat. Please let me know if you are interested.

Poppy, a tortoiseshell or “Tortie” female, was found on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026, by one of our followers who cares for a local feral colony. She heard a kitten crying and searched for a while before she found her. Then she brought Poppy over to me. Poppy had some nasal congestion and crusty eyes, but she recovered quickly with antibiotics, nebulizer treatments, and a few baths. She was probably about eight days old when we got her, so we will call her birthday May 17. Poppy did take to bottle feeding right away, which was tremendously helpful. She is named Poppy, of course, because she was rescued on Memorial Day. But Poppy needed a friend! We got Pete, a dilute orange male, on June 10, 2026, from the Lancaster Animal Shelter. He is also from a supported feral colony, but the supporter could see he was abandoned and was in very bad condition. She brought him to the Shelter who then called us. Pete had back teeth, which means he was at least five weeks old, but he weighed only 300 grams, which is very small. We are calling his birthday May 6, 2026. Pete was thin, dehydrated, and frail. We could feel his ribs, shoulders, and hips. He had the usual crusty eyes, which is common in kittens who have been outside, but that resolved quickly with cleaning and eye drops. Very fortunately, the first morning he ate from a plate. Pete loves human contact, adores Poppy, has lots of energy, and continues to put on weight. After just a few days together, Poppy and Pete are the best of friends. In their case, we will only consider adopting them as a pair, the advantage being you are guaranteed to have a compatible match. We know you will enjoy their joyful antics as much as we have. Stuart Little and Munch Stuart Little (or just Stuart) came to us from the Lancaster Animal Shelter on March 25, 2026. He was one day old, so we will call his birthday March 24. With his umbilical cord still attached, Stuart weighed 80 grams on intake, which is very little. It took him a couple of days, but once he figured out taking a nipple and bottle, he was a very good eater. As Stuart grew, his solid gray coat became beautiful, but we noticed he had a slight deformity in his spine and what felt like loose ribs. We visited a specialist at CARE for an assessment. X-rays show Stuart has a mildly compressed spine they believe is from birth trauma. It looks like he has a tiny fold near his shoulders which does not limit his mobility and will not threaten his long-term health. He's loving, strong, and playful. Well, we had several older rescue kittens, but Stuart being a single orphan needed a friend his age and size, so we put in a call to the Lancaster Animal Shelter and the SPCA. We picked up Munch, a beautiful female gray tabby, at the Shelter on April 20. The Shelter staff warned us, "Good luck on the drive home. She hasn't stopped screaming since she got here this morning." And, yes, she screamed the entire drive home (30 minutes) and then for the next two days. We couldn't tell if she was hungry or panicked. It could have been both. She had teeth, which means she was about three weeks old, which was not quite a week younger than Stuart. Fluids, glucose, and a bottle didn't quiet her down. We named her Munch after artist Edvard Munch's painting "The Scream." Stuart, however, started cuddling and playing with her, which helped Munch tremendously. Now, after a month together, Munch and Stuart are the best of friends. Lynx, a dilute orange male, and Leona, a female black and white Tuxie,are available for adoption together. Although they aren't biological siblings, they've been together since birth. Cheeta, the mom to Lynx and his three siblings, accepted Leona and her sibling after their mom died during their birth. Cheeta was a great mom to all six kittens. Since Lynx and Leona were raised together from before their eyes were open, they are very bonded. When you adopt a bonded pair, you have kittens who have a companion for sleep, play, and zoomies. Looking for a Loving HomeBeau is a sweet, affectionate 10-year-old cat who loves attention and being around people. He enjoys pets, cuddles, and spending time with his family. He has a gentle personality and thrives when he gets plenty of companionship.With a newborn and a busy two-year-old at home, I can no longer give Beau the attention he deserves. I am also concerned that having a cat in the home may be affecting my son's eczema. Because of this, I am looking for a loving new home where Beau can receive the time, affection, and care he enjoys.This is a very difficult decision, and my goal is to find the best possible match for him.
