Story
Elsie was only 13 months old when she became a mama cat though no fault of her own. She had 3 kittens with no place for them to grow up safely. Luckily, Elsie was rescued and taken in to be fostered with her 3 kittens so she could have plenty of food and a safe place for her kittens to grow up. Her kittens have been vetted and adopted so now it is Elsie's turn to be spayed and to find a safe home of her own. Elsie is very sweet with very soft hair. She enjoys being picked up and responds to attention from humans. Elsie has now been spayed, has received her rabies vaccination, Microchip, her FVRCP vaccinations and is now ready for her own home.Of course, she uses a litter box She is fostered in a private home with other cats. Elsie would probably prefer a home where she is the star and can have all the attention. please email trpa@wt.net for an application or more info.Tejas Rescued Pet Adoptions . PO Box 790372 . Story
Golden Dude is a handsome fella that was saved from a high kill shelter in South Texas. He has a great big purr-sonality and loves playing and acting silly. This super friendly kitten will light up your world. Hobbies include parkour, and snuggles. He is playful and loving with people, cats, and cat-friendly dogs. Perpetual zoomies and silly kitten antics are his style. He would especially love to be adopted with his foster brother, ACE, a beautiful friendly snowshoe Siamese. Golden Dude was found with his siblings in a dumpster in February and it was so cold outside that their umbilical cords were frozen together. Story
AFORTUNADO This handsome floof loves head scratches and pets all the way down his back. He is shy at first because he grew up on the streets of south Texas near the border with Mexico. Once he realizes that you feed him every day, then he comes out of his shell. This is his summer coat. He is even fluffier in the winter. Each cat will come to their new home neutered or spayed, with age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV, FIV and heartworms, and microchipped. They can travel along I-35 in Texas with rescue partner for a small donation. Transport is available to most southern states, CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175. All out of state adoptions/transport MUST have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $85. We do not adopt out to Florida or California as those states have an abundance of Siamese needing placement within their respective states. Three personal references, a veterinary reference, a completed application, an adoption contract, and an adoption donation are required for adoption.
