Story
Elsie was only 13 months old when she became a mama cat though no fault of her own. She had 3 kittens with no place for them to grow up safely. Luckily, Elsie was rescued and taken in to be fostered with her 3 kittens so she could have plenty of food and a safe place for her kittens to grow up. Her kittens have been vetted and adopted so now it is Elsie's turn to be spayed and to find a safe home of her own. Elsie is very sweet with very soft hair. She enjoys being picked up and responds to attention from humans. Elsie has now been spayed, has received her rabies vaccination, Microchip, her FVRCP vaccinations and is now ready for her own home.Of course, she uses a litter box. She is fostered in a private home with other cats. Elsie would probably prefer a home where she is the star and can have all the attention. Elsie would like to be an indoor/outdoor cat. She enjoys going out to a safe 'catio' for a few hours during the daytime. Please email trpa@wt.net for an application or more info.Tejas Rescued Pet Adoptions . PO Box 790372 . Story
Caramella is loveable and shy, it takes her a little while to warm up. She is about 2 years old, we would prefer a home that she can relax and get loved on as much as possible. Caramella is curious and loves to explore the house and play a lot. We adopted Caramella 2 years ago as a gift to our daughter, unfortunately this was before we found out our daughter has a cat allergy that originally was not an issue because with a small amount of allergy medication she was fine, but now her allergy has worsened to the point of breaking out in hives and having coughing fits, we would have preferred not to rehome Caramella but we are concerned about the health of our daughter now.

Story
Shy, Sweet Indoor Cat; No Dogs; San Antonio and surrounding area. 4-year-old spayed female cat, indoor-only and up to date on vaccines. She is very skittish and would do best in a quiet, patient home environment with adults who understand shy cats and will let her warm up on her own time. Once she feels safe, she’s gentle and low-key. She does not do well with dogs and needs a dog-free home. Best suited for a calm, quiet household with no dogs and not a loud environment. Rehoming as soon as possible and want to ensure she goes to a loving, understanding home. Please message if you have experience with shy cats and can provide a stable indoor environment.

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.I’m not feral, but I’m also not a cuddly house cat. I don’t enjoy being handled and may never be a lap cat. I coexist well with people and may become more social as I settle in, but I’ll always prefer affection on my own terms.Ideal Home: Best suited for an experienced adopter looking for a low-key companion, porch cat, or indoor/outdoor cat who understands that love doesn’t always mean cuddles.HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight.
