Story
Found in our backyard back in 2020 on Mother’s Day weekend. Initially adopted but then returned back to us when owner moved overseas. She is great at being an only cat and lovable but very stressed since having a baby in the house. Would do great as an only cat in a household and loves to be loved

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.Hi, I’m Ivy!I'm being fostered with our cat wellness coordinator right now. I’m a beautiful 6-month-old tortie with a very special little wobble. I have a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH)—also known as “wobbly cat syndrome.” This simply means the part of my brain that controls balance didn’t fully develop, so my head and body may shake a bit and I can be a little wobbly when I walk. The important thing to know? It isn’t painful, and I’m still a very happy, playful kitten!Because of my wobbliness, I do best in a home with lower cat trees and cozy places to play and rest where I won’t have far to fall. I get around just fine, I just do it with a little extra flair!I enjoy sitting in laps for short periods, but my favorite thing is playing with other cats or kittens. I’m used to having foster siblings and would love a playful friend in my new home (though it’s not absolutely required). My favorite toys are soft ones like mousies and kickers that I can chase and wrestle with.I’m a sweet girl, but I do startle easily, so I’d be happiest in a quieter home without young children. Loud noises—especially the vacuum (the horror!)—can be a bit scary for me.Right now I’m living it up in a foster home, so I’m not at the shelter building. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. Story
Kiki, is very loving, but shy when meeting new people. Once she gets to know them and they stay gentle with her she warms up. I live with my daughter who has had her cats longer and they are older and less tolerant. Kiki is about 4 yrs old now and they will attack her whenever given the chance. She is confined to upstairs during the day and my bedroom at night. The confinement is wearing on her and me. She really needs the space to play and let go in a bigger space, without fear. She is non aggressive and will hide if shown aggression. So if around kids as long as they are gentle, she is contented to just watch them. She is also food oriented. Everything that I have bought for her comes with, litter box, kennel etc.. She has not had a vet check up since getting fixed, but has been healthy since. She was a wild kitten that I fed her outside until she was 1 year old, Then I moved in with my daughter and took her with me. Unfortunately that’s what led up to re-homing her.

Story
Elsie was only 13 months old when she became a mama cat though no fault of her own. She had 3 kittens with no place for them to grow up safely. Luckily, Elsie was rescued and taken in to be fostered with her 3 kittens so she could have plenty of food and a safe place for her kittens to grow up. Her kittens have been vetted and adopted so now it is Elsie's turn to be spayed and to find a safe home of her own. Elsie is very sweet with very soft hair. She enjoys being picked up and responds to attention from humans. Elsie has now been spayed, has received her rabies vaccination, Microchip, her FVRCP vaccinations and is now ready for her own home.Of course, she uses a litter box. She is fostered in a private home with other cats. Elsie would probably prefer a home where she is the star and can have all the attention. Elsie would like to be an indoor/outdoor cat. She enjoys going out to a safe 'catio' for a few hours during the daytime. Please email trpa@wt.net for an application or more info.Tejas Rescued Pet Adoptions . PO Box 790372 .
