Story
Maddi was found alone on a kind woman's porch. Since no siblings were found, Maddi joined the Emmi kittens we have posted. Maddi has the Calico cattitude of a Dilute Calico. Maddi has an internal dinner bell and she will let you know when meals are to be served! She loves to be snuggled in blankets to sleep on you lap! Her purr is lovely and her cuteness will melt your heart.

Story
Chelsea is a stunning mix of Calico and Tabby, with a gorgeous blend of spots, stripes, and color that perfectly matches her unique personality. She’s a delightful combination of spice and sweetness—happy to curl up for lap snuggles, then content to sit nearby and watch the world go by. Chelsea thrives in a calm, quiet home where she can relax and feel safe. Chelsea’s journey has been remarkable. She found her way to kind homeowners while still nursing her first kitten, London, who they helped care for. Chelsea even had a second litter before we were able to bring her indoors to safety. Now, she’s ready to enjoy her own second “kittenhood” and have a life full of love, comfort, and affection.

Can have all 3 for $50 or just 1 for $30, He’s definitely got orange cat energy, he’s so entertaining he loves his sisters, He gets along with cats he doesn’t know and people, super sweet and cuddly he’ll let you know when he’s hungry with his adorable high pitched meow. He’s playful rub his belly and he’ll start playing with your hands. If you want his sisters since the get along so well, just let me know they’re super entertaining and sweet as well the youngest girl is smaller in size and she talks the most the older girl has the authentic calico coat she’s gorgeous and she’s the quiet one out of all the kittens. But again the girls are so friendly to others cats and people.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.rescued from neighborhoodHey there!  my name is DOT!!!   Know why?  Uhhh...I have an orange spot on my head!     I'm a little shy but sassy at the same time.    I  like humans but sometimes cats make me nervous...depending on the cat.  So, in those cases, I just hiss!   I did fine with the other cat I lived with, but when the humans gave us up, we got separated.   Checkers was adopted first. My personality is coming out more and more.  When my foster mom pets me , I meow and talk to her.  I like to stand up on my legs and put my paws on her knees to check things out!  I'm mild mannered and sweet natured.   Just want attention and some loving and petting.   Mom says I have a lot of potential to be a lap cat!   If you want to meet me, contact my foster mom, Janet, at catlady5555@yahoo.com.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 11:40 pm

Story
Meet Motley!   This gorgeous calico girl is looking for a lap to call her own — and a person who’s around to give it to her. She’s an indoor-only sweetheart who thrives on company, so she’d be over the moon in a home with someone who works remotely or is around most of the day. She’s not a fan of being alone for long stretches; she’s much happier curled up nearby while you work, read, or binge your latest show.   Once she warms up, she’s an absolute love bug — sweet, affectionate, and happiest when she’s near her people. She’s a little shy at first with new faces and new places (give her time to come out of her shell), but that timidness melts away fast once she trusts you. She gets along well with other cats and has been great with kids from toddler age on up — she just hasn’t had the chance to meet any infants yet, so we can’t speak to that.   With her stunning calico coat and gentle nature, she’s the whole package for the right home: patient, present, and ready to shower someone in love. If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow who’ll make your work-from-home days a whole lot cozier, she might just be your girl.  July 22, 2026, 2:55 pm

Story
Priya is a petite young lady but big love comes in small packages! She is highly extroverted but also exceptionally affectionate and gentle, making her a perfect candidate for any home environment, with or without resident cats or dogs. She has come around to the idea of sharing space with other cats in her foster home, and she does not at all mind the very cat-friendly dogs in the house. She really just wants to cuddle all the time. Got a lap? She’s all set! Priya is spayed, microchipped, up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and is negative for both FIV and FeLV. She’s a hearty eater and an A+ litter box user. If you’re interested in offering Priya your heart and home, please send an e-mail to theamericanstreetcat[at]gmail[dot]com and request an adoption application.

Story
Ginger cat lovers and cat lovers of all kinds, meet Biscuit! Over the the course of a week, residents of a Houston block banded together to report on sightings of this unhoused baby, and one champion homeowner finally brought him into safety on July 11, 2026. Far from feral, this little guy wants nothing more than human touch and affection. Based on dental development, Biscuit was determined to be four months old during his first vet visit on July 15. He has been microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV (negative for both), and received his first of two booster shots. In three weeks, he will return for his second booster, the rabies vaccine, and neuter. In our opinion, everyone needs a little Biscuit on their daily menu! If you are interested in adopting him, please send an e-mail to theamericanstreetcat[at]gmail[dot]com and request an application. An adoption fee applies so that we can continue to support animals in need.
