Story
Astrid is an adult cat that was happy and loved in a home until recently, when her person passed away. As you can imagine, when she first came back to the shelter Astrid was very confused, depressed, and angry. It took her several weeks to decompress before she started trusting volunteers and now we’re starting to understand her better. Astrid needs a new person with a calm home who will be very patient with her as she learns to adjust to a new routine. Please consider giving her a chance to be happy again! She has not been in a home with other cats, dogs, or children. Adult female cat age 7-1/2 yearsNOTE: We were told as far as first interactions with people, Astrid often has an easier time with men than women.

Story
Prissy and her brother Scotch were found hiding beneath the hood of a car after travelling for many miles. Prissy can be a tad shy at first, but once she knows you and feels safe, she soaks up all the affection you can give. She especially loves head scratches and will insist on more if you stop too soon! It may take a bit of time and patience to earn Prissy's trust, but we promise she's worth it!

Story
Giraffe is a cautious cute cat who may take a moment to warm up, but once she feels safe, she enjoys short cuddle sessions and gentle affection. Her heart can easily be won over with treats—her absolute favorite! She’s also a big fan of laser toys and can spend hours chasing the red dot. Giraffe enjoys the company of other cats and gets along wonderfully with her sisters, Junior and Cinnamonroll, as well as her mom, Sandy. She’d love a home where she can bond at her own pace and enjoy plenty of play and kitty companionship. Giraffe has not been around cat friendly dogs. We do not recommend Giraffe have a home with young children.

Story
Sandy is a lovely young adult cat who enjoys pets, gentle affection, and having a good chat with her favorite humans. She can be a bit reserved at first, but once she warms up, she’s sweet, sociable, and full of charm. Sandy especially loves batting around catnip mice during playtime. She’s looking for a patient, loving home where she can blossom and share her gentle personality. She has not been around cat friendly dogs. We do not recommend Sandy have a home with young children.

Stormy is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves calm, gentle human company. She can be a little cautious around loud noises but makes up for it with her playful spirit—especially in the mornings when she loves to zoom around and chase her favorite toys. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who enjoys peaceful moments and fun play sessions, Stormy might just be your perfect match. Stormy would do best in a calm quiet home. She was unsure about cat-friendly dogs but did well with older children and other cats when given a slow introduction in a peaceful environment.Female adult cat age 2 years

Story
Despite her very young age, Mrs Bennet was a wonderful mom to her five kittens and now she’s ready for a permanent home of her own. Mrs B is an active cat who will seek out where the action is. She loves to chase the red dot and will jump high to reach it if you aim it on the wall for her to see. She's a great squirrel alarm.....she's always on the look out! When she's tired, she enjoys being with her person, relaxing and talking to you with a unique ‘chirp’ that will win you over! Mrs Bennet doesn't seem to care much for other cats and friendly dogs. She has not been around children but might be okay with older kids, especially if they play with her! Young female adult cat age 1 year
