SO UNIQUE  DOB 9/1/24 Meet Kali Kat: The Tiny Tempest with a Tender Side Forged in frost and rescued from the chaos of a Texas freeze, Kali Kat emerged like a mythical creature—equal parts fire and ice. With her enchanting cali-tabby coat and the soul of a tiny lioness, Kali was discovered mid-meow, summoning the universe for rescue with the vocal prowess of an opera diva. Now safe and warm, Kali rules her domain with a velvet paw and a sharp gaze. Her love for humans is legendary—chin scratches? Bliss. Ear rubs? Nirvana. She’ll melt into your hand like butter on toast… until another feline dares cross her path without proper clearance. Kali's social circle is exclusive, darling. She’s not here for your average kitty drama. She prefers quality over quantity in her furry friendships, and she’s not afraid to flash her adorably ferocious "angry face" to keep the riffraff inline.Affectionate, expressive, and just the right amount of spicy—Kali Kat is not your average housecat. She’s an experience. A vibe. A legend in the making. HOPE ID 25-0201-G018 If you are interested in Kali Kat and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Story
WILL HALVE YOUR SORROWS AND DOUBLE YOUR JOYS  DOB 5/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Misty, a beautiful, sweet, playful dilute calico gal whose amiable personality radiates to everyone whom I meet. In fact, when I was spayed, the vet staff was impressed by how sweet I am. That my congeniality stands out is quite a compliment since they see a steady stream of kittens. I was found as a four-month old orphan kitten with no momma or siblings in sight. I’ll never tell, but Foster Meowmy thinks I must’ve been someone’s pet who got lost, escaped, or was abandoned. When she found me at her community cat feeding station in southwest Houston, I was hungry for both food and love, so I let her pick me up and carry me home. I made friends easily with my five foster mates, and I’m delighted to have a built-in “litter” because all of us orphans are about the same age! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other until we’re exhausted, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle. We love to chase each other through the cat tunnel, and I’m mesmerized when Foster Meowmy waves the flying-turkey-feather wand toy over my head for me to lunge at and wiggles it around the room for me to pounce on. Now I’m ready to bring my cordial charm, kitten friskiness, and pastel beauty for my forever family to enjoy. Could that be you? Take me home, and I promise to halve your sorrows and double your joys. How can you resist me? If you're looking for a pair of kittens, please consider one of my foster mates, Freddy, Sushi, Little Turkey, Porkchop, or McCoy. We think it'd be the cat's meow if we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you're at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0827-C135 Misty’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
I'm Athena, the chill calico queen. Much too pretty to be outdoors, I was found scrounging for food at a dilapidated apartment complex. Eager for food, attention, and a return to my royal beginnings, I ran up to a nice lady who took me in! A total sweetie, I like chin and neck rubs and ear scratches too. A fairly chill calico girl, I like to spend my days in cat trees and cat caves nearby my humans. I also get along with other cats just fine, including kittens (I mostly just watch them play). Did someone say play?! Yes, I will get off my throne to play on occasion, climbing on wall mounted shelves and cat trees, leaping after string and wand toys. I can be a bit of a goofy gal. But mostly, I just enjoy chilling on my throne like a true queen and having my ears rubbed and cheeks stroked. Are you looking for a calico queen?! Take me home for a truly regal experience :). -Reach out today to meet me ASAP.

Story
Description Black, Orange and White (medium fur) Female Calico with white paws. Personality Pepper is a very mild-mannered, well behaved, litter box trained cat. She is extremely polite and affectionate and a perfect indoor kitty. She prefers to let you know when she wants to be held and if you sit in a chair she happily jumps into your lap for affection. Pepper is patient and has a gentle nature. She can seem shy when adapting to a new place, but quickly will begin to happily explore. Background Pepper was found behind a garage parking lot with no shelter, food or water. She was extremely thin, malnourished and very friendly, even to a stranger. Her finder left her food and water and then returned two more days to feed her. On the third day they brought a cat carrier and she walked right into the carrier. She must have either been lost or dumped. They posted her as a found stray and tried to find her home but no one claimed her. She was spayed at The Greater Good on April 29th, dewormed, vaccinated, and given flea treatment. Pepper will make a wonderful pet for a small family with older children or a single person or couple looking for a wonderful companion. To meet me please contact my foster home via GNARHouston@gmail.com

Story
NAME: Crayola Sex: female Color/Pattern: dilute Calico, gray, peach, white Breed: domestic shorthair Weight: ~6lbs at 6 months old Age at intake: ~8 weeks BDAY approx: May 10, 2024 Intake date : July 7, 2024 Found date: ~July 1 Coat length: short Description Crayola is a very pretty and rare dilute calico, who is outgoing, affectionate, and always acting on her curiosity. Personality Crayola is smart and adventurous. She does flips in her crate for fun and is athletic in other ways too. She is very playful and explorative. Even when she is nervous and not sure of herself yet in a new place or with a new person, her curiosity gets the best of her. She has FOMO and wants to be part of everything going on. She is always watching and aware of everything around her. You won't catch her snoozing much because she is always alert. Crayola will ask for attention by rolling on her back for belly rubs and by weaving between your legs when you are sitting down. She will act coy and like she doesn't trust you, but as soon as you turn away she runs up for some affection. How dare you ignore her. Background Crayola and her brother were found at about 6-8 weeks old just before Hurricane Beryl in July, down in a neighborhood in SW Houston. Their finder brought them to a GNAR group home, where many others had been sent from the same large colony of cats that live there and are actively TNR'd. Crayola was big, fat and healthy, but defensive and hissy. Her brother was small and weak and sadly didn't make it. Crayola had to stay in a quarantine crate for several months because of her brother's illness. But she was always robust and a great eater. She recovered well from an eye infection they had when they arrived, that left a tiny scar on one of her lenses. Compatibility Dogs - yes, eventually Cats - yes Kids - yes
