Story
6 month old feral kitten was found during the -30F weather we had a few weeks ago. We caught her and brought her inside to keep from freezing, and have been caring for her since. This cat has quickly warmed up to people, and is a good lap cat. We originally took her in to a TNR program for spay and rabies shot. Later, we were able to get her to our vet for a full check-up. In good physical health - just minor frost-bite to the tip of the one ear. However, she did test positive for Feline Leukemia virus. As such, she needs to be an indoor only cat. She has been kept isolated from our other cats by means of a large wire cage, and she took straight to the litter box in it. Since she has her adult teeth in, our vet placed her age at least 6 months, but no more than a year. I would say it's on the younger side. This is a really sweet little animal, and I'm sad to say that we can't provide a home for her, but we will continue to foster until we can find her permanent home.

Story
Hi! Im Maple a happy, confident girl with a playful, curious spirit and a thoughtful side. I love exploring my space, batting at toys, and keeping an eye on what my people are doing. I enjoy being part of the action and often choose a cozy spot nearby where I can relax and take it all in. Im learning more every day that humans are safe, fun, and pretty great to be around. With gentle attention and a little consistency, I settle in quickly and start showing my sweet, affectionate side. If youre looking for a cheerful kitten who enjoys playtime, companionship, and growing a strong bond, I could be the perfect fit.Maple would like to be adopted with Marigold or to a home with another cat to keep her company. *This kitty has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. If you would like to meet this kitty please fill out an application for adoption at https://www.kindredkitties.org/cat-adoption An approved application must be on file before we will arrange for a meeting with kitties in foster care. Adoption fees for our kittens 9 weeks to 1 year are $150 for one kitten ($240 for two). Adoption fees for adults (over a year) are $100 ($160 for two). Thank you for considering a Kindred Kitty.

Story
I adopted my cat at the age of 1 and had her for 4 years. She is super sweet and a big people person, she will always want to be wherever you are or where people are. She likes to sleep under the blanket, and is very docile when holding her. She likes to meow and talk. She gets stressed around other animals so she is a solo pet. Hoping to find her someone who can bring munchkin a good home!

Story
Randy has made amazing progress and finally turned a corner! He is officially ready for a home! He can handle kittens but NO older cats! It is best for him to grow with them. He does much better! He is about a year and a half. Chipped and neutered. Not to much a fan of being picked up but will sometimes tolerate it. NO dogs. NO small children! Does great with nail trims! He is a talker and a whiner lol. He is still very timid. Must have patience. Took us 6 months to get as far as we have! Jack's Playground played a big part, without them letting us foster Sophie, Sadie and Stormie we would have thought Randy needed to be an only cat. Once the kittens came it was like they taught him how to be a kitten and he opened up so much more! Vet reference is needed!

Story
Squirrel is a shy cat to start. Needs a couple months to warm up to someone, but once she warms up she will be out and about. She loves to be able to look out the window and watch the birds and squirrels and will even chirp back at the birds! She go crazy for cat nip and lunch meat. Like I said she is very shy and would benefit from a quiet home. She has lived with a dog for the last year and she is very curious, but unfortunately just doesn’t get along. She isn’t a big on cuddling, but ever now and than she will get comfy with you on the couch! I have had her for 7 years and has been a great cat. One major detail….she is picky about her litter. Clay litter is her preference! Tried to use pellets for a bit in a small apartment and it did not work out….

Story
Rehoming our beloved white cat, Khione (7–8 yrs). We brought her from Amman, Jordan, and she is incredibly cuddly and deeply bonded to her people. She would make an amazing emotional support companion — she’ll sit in your lap for hours, sleep pressed against your left side, and even give affectionate licks. If she’s not getting enough cuddles, she’ll sweetly “tell” you. She does well with our daughter and is gentle and calm. She thrives on a high-protein diet; high-carb food can cause anal gland issues, so diet consistency matters. We’ll provide wet and dry food to get you started. Indoor-only home. If for any reason it doesn’t work out, she must come back to us — her wellbeing is our priority. Please message with info about your home and lifestyle.
