Named after The Powerpuff Girls favorite, known for kindness and heart, Bubbles lives up to her namesake perfectly. She’s a tiny calico with dark, beautiful coloring, cute white socks, and a little white nose. Bubbles is shy at first and may retreat if the world feels too fast, but slow movements and a calm voice go a long way. Once the pets begin, she melts—leaning into your hand and quietly sticking close. She prefers gentle play over chaos and is a big fan of hugging her ball tower, enjoying catnip toys, and carefully digging for treats. She’ll happily track a feather wand, even if she’s still deciding whether pouncing is really necessary. She would truly shine in a calmer home with older, respectful kids who understand that sweet kittens sometimes need a minute. Bubbles does well with other cats and would enjoy a feline companion. Her siblings Blossom, Buttercup, Ace, and Mojo Jojo are also adoptable, each bringing their own Powerpuff-style personality to the table. I'm hoping to find a loving home for Serafina and her sister Lily—ideally together. They’re both beautiful, spayed cats who came to us a year ago when my daughter asked if we could care for them on behalf of a friend. Now that she’s away at college and our apartment doesn’t allow pets, I’m heartbroken to be in this position. These two have brought so much joy into our lives. Lily is the larger of the two and an affectionate snuggler. Serafina is more independent—she enjoys attention on her own terms—but every night she curls up on my legs to sleep, which is her special way of showing love. I adopted my cat at the age of 1 and had her for 4 years. She is super sweet and a big people person, she will always want to be wherever you are or where people are. She likes to meow and talk. She gets stressed around other animals so she is a solo pet. Hoping to find her someone who can bring munchkin a good home!

Hi, I'm Paisley, and I was loved for 8 wonderful years until my person could no longer care for me and I was surrendered to HAWS. The volunteers and staff have been great making me feel comfortable while I wait for that someone special to come take me home. I can tell you I give sooooo much love and you hear it too (because my happy purrs are loud). When you come to meet me, I'm the first cat on the right when you walk in the cat adoption room. Don't be surprised if I'm at my front door saying HI to you. When you meet me, I will enjoy my ears and under my chin being rubbed. Once I am comfortable with you, I will let you pick me up and hug you. Since I'm not a kitten, playing is not my priority, rather spending quiet time with people who appreciate a gentle, loving companion is perfect with me! I have the distinction of being one of HAWS longest residents ... I think it's because I have some special needs. I eat wet food only because I've had dental disease and I don't have all my teeth. I also have FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, a condition that affects my immune system. I don't know how I got it but I'm told FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds. The risk of transmission to other cats is low if your household is a quiet atmosphere and FIV is not contagious to people or other non-feline animals. All I ask for is a loving and understanding home where I can live inside and receive regular veterinary care. FIV cats like me live long and fulfilling lives with proper care and attention.
