Story
🖤HOSS😍 Hoss is a handsome, adult, cane corso mix that is ADORED by his foster dad! He was adopted up north but was a little too much dog for his adopter, so we moved him to a foster home to work on his manners and he is excelling! 🐕 Hoss is good with other mellow dogs like himself but prefers to stay away from crazy high-energy friends. He would also be perfectly happy as an only dog! 🫶🏼 This handsome hunk is crate trained with no issues, he just needs a little “cheese motivation” to go in on his own 🤣 once he’s in, he sleeps in his crate with no issues. 💯 Hoss’ biggest challenge was his strength on leash, but he has come so far and with a confident handler, we know he would master loose-leash walking in no time! His only leash trigger is bunnies 🐰 This hunk of love just wants all the attention from humans, big or small, and would thrive with a family that wants a life companion in their dog. Is that you? If you are a big dog lover, look no further than Hops! Absolutely stunning! Happy, eager, gentle, loving, and definitely a couch lover! At 100 lbs., Hops really sees himself as a lap dog-that might be a stretch! What would be the best home for 4 year old Hops? One where he gets lots of his favorite walks, a home with lots of toys with food in them (a favorite), many comfy beds or couches, and someone who is home much of the time. He would do well with teens and adults. Breed experience is helpful with understanding some of his sensitivities-Who IS that big dog in the mirror and Why does the floor need to be vacuumed?? Coming to a positive training class is also a plus! We can help with that-we offer positive training classes to help bond and teach at the same time! He is smart and would love that to be part of his life! To learn more about this handsome boy, please call Our Companions Animal Rescue at 860-242-9999 or e-mail to Helpline@ourcompanions.org.

Story
Meet gorgeous, 125lb Goliath! This wonderful king of a dog is looking for a permanent stable home after being bounced around a bit. Goliath has made best buddies with some of shelter staff and loves romping around in our fenced in areas and hanging out. He loves working for treats, and can't wait to find a home to bond with, a home that will keep him for the rest of his life. He has a medium energy level, and shows potential for being a great boy to enjoy some outside play, then head inside to snuggle and chill. Goliath is looking for an adult home with a yard, and would do best as an only pet. If you are interested in meeting Goliath, please head to our website worcesterarl.org and click on Goliath's photo to fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry form. That is the first step to meeting this handsome big boy. All adoptions are by appointment, thank you!

Story
Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Tank This sweet, big baby wandered up to a house a couple months back, skin and bones, horrible skin, just in very bad shape all around. Thankfully, some kind folks agreed to foster him and he is doing much better now, although he still has some healing to do. He appears to be middle aged- maybe 5 or so. He is very friendly and sweet natured. He does well with other dogs, but is not a good candidate for a home with cats. He is house trained and Crate trained and is a very smart boy, learning new concepts with ease. We believe he may be a Cane Corso mix and he weighs about 65-70 pounds. We have had him neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations. He was heartworm negative and has been placed on monthly prevention. This sweet guy needs a home to rest and continue healing. He is so affectionate and kind hearted, with an incredibly sweet spirit and endless amounts of love, despite what he's been through. Can anyone out there offer him the loving home that he so desperately wants and deserves? Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
