Story
Gus is a smart 6 year old cuddler. He was born from a family member’s unexpected litter and we had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is a loyal protector and has been a good boy for us. We have a toddler now and cannot give him the attention he deserves. Gus is willing to learn and has a lot of energy, but he will also put his head in your lap after work.He will benefit from a home environment that has the time and energy to exercise him and challenge him mentally and physically.

Story
***Cane Corso or Similar Breed Experience Required*** Name: Mama Breed: Cane CorsoAge: 3+ years oldKids: Over 12Cats: TBDDogs: SelectiveMeet the lady of the hour, the mama of our Corso Crew. Mama joined the MHS family shortly after her puppies were surrendered to us and has been ready for her forever home ever since! This beautiful big girl, weighing in at 124 pounds, is as strong as she is sweet and absolutely loves her people! Mama walks wonderful on a leash, knows all her basic commands, and is as loyal as they come! This lady loves people, but in typical Corso style will look to her people to be sure that new friends are okay. Mama is super smart but also has the total goofball personality, so we are saying kids over 12, because Mama loves to play and jump on her people when excited. Two of Mama's favorite things are rolling over for belly rubs and her stuffed animal toys! We are requiring a home with prior Cane Corso or similar breed experience.Mama is UTD on her vaccinations, is microchipped and spayed. If you are interested in Mama, please fill out an application today!Note, Mama is only available for adoption to CT residents. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

Story
🐾 Bella – 4.5 Year Old Cane Corso Beauty 🐾 Meet Bella, a stunning 4.5 year old Cane Corso girl who is looking for her second chance at forever. Bella was originally adopted from our rescue as a puppy, but heartbreakingly, her owner recently passed away. Now she’s searching for the next chapter of her life. Could that be with you? Bella is everything you love about the breed. She is loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. She has a playful side and enjoys spending time outside, but she’s just as happy being close to you soaking up attention. She truly bonds with her humans and will be a wonderful companion. She does great with other dogs in her foster home and has been good with kids and cats. Bella is well-rounded and has a sweet, gentle nature, especially for a dog her size. Because of her breed and size, Bella will need an experienced, breed-knowledgeable owner who understands the needs of a Cane Corso and can provide structure, leadership, and love. She will thrive in a home that appreciates her loyalty and continues to guide her. Bella is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. She has already known love once. Let’s make sure she finds it again. ❤️ $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State (includes transport to your area) Bella does take a daily medication to help manage some arthritis, and she will come with a one-month supply to get you started. She’s doing great with it and continues to enjoy life to the fullest. #godsdogsrescue #canecorso #adoptdontshop #rescuedog #sanantoniodogs #bigdoglove #secondchance #corsolove #adoptabella
