Story
Hop Is Ready for His Forever Home Hop was found in the middle of a busy intersection in the pouring rain. Thankfully, a kind person stopped and brought him safely into their car. What a brave boy he was — and so trusting. Hop is a large mastiff/Cane Corso mix, still just a giant pup at around 8 months old. He is black brindle, approximately 85 pounds, and still growing. He earned the name Hop because he greets everyone with his famous little hop, always trying to get as close as he can. Hop’s personality is full of life. He does well with the animals in his foster home, including dogs and chickens. However, one particular pot-bellied pig has made it clear that Hop is not his favorite roommate. To keep peace in the home, Hop is looking for a place where he can truly thrive. Hop’s life is just beginning, and he is going to make someone a loyal, loving companion. Maybe you could be the one to complete his world. ❤️

Name: Misty Breed: Cane Corso Mix Sex: Female Age: DOB 5/29/2025 Spayed/Neutered: Will be neutered/spayed prior to adoption Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter. Heartworm: Negative Housetrained: Getting there. Microchipped: Yes Adoption Fee/Donation: $400 Important!! Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.

Story
Devine has been steadily showing everyone more and more of her personality, and watching her confidence grow has been genuinely rewarding. Outside of the kennel she has shown herself to be a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys exploring, sniffing around, and spending time with people at her own pace. She has been easy to leash, enjoys getting outside, and has allowed handling and petting without issue. Volunteers have described her as wiggly, friendly, and excited to head out for walks and enrichment time. Shelter life has clearly been stressful for Devine at times, especially in the kennel environment, but she has made noticeable progress in a relatively short amount of time. Once she feels comfortable, her softer side comes through more and more. She seems like a dog who will thrive with patience, consistency, and a calmer home environment where she does not have to constantly process the noise and stimulation of shelter life. There is a thoughtful, sensitive dog underneath it all, and the people who take the time to earn her trust are already seeing how much potential she has to become a deeply loyal and loving companion. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter`s care. Story
Meltz may have started out feeling unsure about the world around him, but once he realized he was among friends, his true personality began to shine. Staff discovered a sweet, affectionate dog with a wiggly body, a soft heart, and a genuine love for human attention. During his time out of the kennel, he happily sought out pets, leaned into affection, and showed off the loose, happy body language of a dog who is ready to make connections. If you`re looking for a companion who wants to be close to his people, Meltz is already taking applications. His name might be Meltz, but he is the one who is likely to melt your heart. Staff have watched him transform from a nervous newcomer into a dog who eagerly seeks affection and enjoys spending time with people. That ability to bounce back and trust again is something special. Meltz is looking for a family that will continue helping his confidence grow while enjoying all the love and loyalty he has to offer. In return, they`ll gain a devoted companion who seems happiest when he`s sharing life`s adventures with someone by his side. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter`s care. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet

Meeko is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Meeko is a 9 year old spayed female. Her owner died last year and we took her to try and find a home. She is very loveable. She is very good with people and seems to be ok with children. She does well with most animals. She was raised on a horse farm with her 8 year old brother and sister, unfortunately her sister Izzy passed shortly after her owner. She would do well inside or outside. Secured fencing is a must. She would have to be home with her brother Kane a great pyrenees. Meeko is about 90 lbs. Kane is around 110+.If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE TEXT 812-361-9788 OR EMAIL shanzboyzrule@yahoo.com***Please contact the owner directly***
