But with patience, calm energy, and a little space, she’ll begin to trust you—always on her own terms.Marley loves her wet food and never turns down a tasty treat. She’s a girl who knows what she likes and moves at her own pace, making her perfect for someone who appreciates a more independent companion. Because she’s sensitive to touch, she doesn’t like being pet from behind and does best when people approach her gently and from the front.Her behavior around other dogs and cats is still unknown, so slow, careful introductions—or a home where she can be the only pet—may suit her best.Marley is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let her blossom in her own time. If you’re willing to go slow and let her lead the way, she just might become your most loyal friend.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
