Heartworm: Negative Housetrained: Getting there. Microchipped: Yes Adoption Fee/Donation: $400 Important!! Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.

Rose 🌹 Don’t let the flower name fool you — this girl has some serious grit. Born June 3rd, Rose is a Pit Bull/Cane Corso mix with a playful, affectionate personality and plenty of puppy sass. She loves attention, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has fully embraced the idea that life is supposed to be fun. Rose also has quite the comeback story. She arrived painfully thin and became the sickest of her litter, battling parvo, coccidia, hookworms, a bacterial skin infection, and kennel cough. She fought through all of it and is doing wonderfully now. If you met her today, you’d never guess how much she has already overcome. We expect Rose to be around 55–65 pounds full grown. 🐾 Good with children 🐾 Good with other dogs 🐾 Good with cats 🐾 Located in Brooks, Kentucky Her first chapter was about surviving.
