Story
Caine is a very good boy, he’s good with older kids, and needs to be walked daily. Will not do well with small dogs. Big dogs will take a while to warm up to. He is a cane corso so they demand time and energy, will be destructive if his exercise needs aren’t met. He needs someone who won’t mind being followed, he will become your best friend. Loves toys, stuffed animals, needs toys that will last. Serious inquirers only, he isn’t an apartment dog , needs space, preferably a big yard. giving him up isn’t an easy decision all he needs is a good home.

Story
We got her from someone else who was moving, But overall VERY happy, needy, energetic puppy. She needs space to run around A lot of toys or she WILL rip up your blankets charging cords anything with food can't be left at her level. I have two other dogs one is 12 and the other is two both pit bulls they play all the time. Chased a raccoon up a tree so I don't think cats are going to work She is a jumper and has good sized paws so training will be needed. She goes out 5am lunch time if someone is home 4pm and 9pm before bed Big ass bowl of food in the morning and that's all Does listen just need patience No physical anger or aggression shown to her (other than yelling) Hoping to get her a new place with space and a yard The fee is to make sure she goes to someone or family that will care *I can waive

Story
*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
If you’ve been waiting on a puppy who’s the perfect mix of heart, humor, and happy-go-lucky charm… say hello to Adorable Archie. This boy is everything we love about puppies rolled into one wiggly little package — sweet, silly, social, and so ready to love his people. Archie’s story started in one of the toughest regions in the country for dogs like him. Puppies there don’t get many chances. Shelters are overcrowded to the point that healthy, adoptable babies are being euthanized simply because there’s no space left. Archie made it out because a foster stepped up. Choosing him means you’re not just giving one puppy a future — you’re opening a spot so we can save the next one standing in line behind him. You’re part of changing the numbers. And this boy? He’s worth every bit of that second chance. Archie is five months old, around 37 pounds, and bursting with personality. His foster describes him as social, affectionate, “talkative,” playful, and easy to redirect — truly the best kind of puppy energy. He loves other dogs, plays beautifully, explores with curiosity, and then curls up like a big ol’ lap baby the second he realizes it’s snuggle time. He’s joyful, fun to watch, and always ready to be part of the action. He even entertains himself when needed, which is a dream for puppy adopters. He’s still young, so he’ll need a family ready to guide him with training, structure, and routine — all the things that help puppies grow into confident, well-mannered adults. We ask adopters to commit to crate training right away, as it’s essential for potty training, boundaries, and helping puppies settle safely. In return? You get a best friend with a personality big enough to fill your whole house with laughter and love. Archie is loyal, goofy, expressive, and so ready to bond with his forever family. If your heart is pulling you toward a puppy you can grow with, learn with, and love for a lifetime, Archie might just be your boy. We’d love to set up a FaceTime call so you can meet him, see his personality firsthand, and make sure he feels like the right fit. He’s currently in Houston and able to travel to the PNW, East Coast, or Midwest on our next transport. Your new adventure starts with one yes — and Archie is waiting for it. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6893c1f9fc2ea8987400658a Questions? We proudly have over 17,000 successful adoptions and excellent Google Reviews:https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about creating lasting matches between dog and family for long term success, and take the time to ensure each adoption is a fit through our matchmaking process. At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. .
