Story
It's with a heavy heart we are looking to rehome our beloved Burley. He is a 3 year old male, neutered, Cane Corso. He was purchased as a pet only, with no breeding rights, and is not AKC registered. He was the very first litter to be bred by KC Cane Corso. He has been raised with children, and is great with them, but due to a recent injury, should be homed with only older children. He tore his ACL, and the vet informed me that the surgery is very expensive, and is not a guaranteed solution. Thus he suggested treating with anti inflammatory medication, and joint supplements. This has been working well for him. He can walk fine most days, although sometimes favors the leg if he overworks it. The children just don't understand. They want their old Burley, who they can climb on, cuddle with. This sometimes causes him a lot of pain, and I'm afraid of further injury. He needs a home with adults, or older children, where he can relax when need be. We love him, so we have to let go.
