Story
11 months 80 Pounds Cane Corso mix *** Reduced Adoption Fee *** 📢 Foster or Foster to Adopt Needed Mr. Man and his 2 other brothers were being handed out at a store when they were 8 weeks old. Luckily an animal lover took them in but unfortunately she was never able to find homes for them so they were with her all this time. He is a bit shy when you first meet so will need someone willing to give him a little time. Once he trusts you he is a big love bug baby. Mr. Man is absolutely gorgeous with his big yellow eyes and gorgeous brindle. He reminds me of a Panther. He was around cats with his foster mom and is now around children. He needs a little help walking on leash so it would be best if he had a fully fenced yard and a quiet neighborhood to make his transition smooth. Get your applications in. You must have an approved application to come and meet them. Once you submit an application please reach out to us in text or email. We text people so make sure your phone is not blocking unkown callers. Please do not submit an application and then ignore us when we contact you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   If you would like to take me home please complete a Pet Adoption Application   Toby is a young adult with a heart full of love, but he requires an experienced owner who understands his breed and needs. Weighing in at 90 lbs, Toby requires an 18 AND OVER HOUSEHOLDS ONLY!This boy and his brother, Rocky, were born in November of 2021, and surrendered to us in August of 2022. The two of them had been running around a neighborhood and causing all kinds of havoc. Needless to say, they had no manners or training prior to coming in to us and the world was shut down during this time, so socialization was a problem.  The boys are a Cane Corso mix and weigh in at approximately 70lbs, we have them housed in the sanctuary part of Camp because of their size. In the sanctuary part of Camp the dogs have a room not a kennel, a bed, tv, radio, and a guillotine door to their own private pen, they can go in or outside as they please. Toby loves his long walks and is strong on a leash, knows simple commands, and is sweet with staff.  Toby will need multiple meets to be comfortable with you as his person, and any others in the household that live there. NO children under the age of 18 years old.  Corso’s are known for their protective behavior, so a low activity household is best. At 4 years old, this boy is more Corso than whatever he is mixed with, thus living up to his breed. A breed experienced owner is best. Toby loves his car rides and lying in the sunshine in his pen, “chatting” with his brother Rocky in the next pen over!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  November 24, 2025, 1:48 pm

Story
*UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
