He’s a friendly, well-mannered boy who gets along great with other dogs and is non-reactive to other animals. Hendrix is wonderful with kids and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes him an amazing family companion. He loves to play—especially when balls are involved—and will happily chase them until it’s time to relax. When playtime is over, Hendrix turns into a total cuddle bug and truly believes he’s a giant lap dog. He enjoys snuggling up with his people and being close to those he loves. Hendrix does have epilepsy, which is currently being managed. With the right care and a consistent routine, he continues to thrive and enjoy life just like any other dog. His condition doesn’t define him—it’s just one small part of who he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, playful companion who balances fun energy with sweet affection, Hendrix could be the perfect addition to your family..  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Meet Nova, our 90-pound cuddle machine with a heart as big as her personality! Rescued from the roof of a building in the Bronx, this special girl has shown incredible resilience and love. True to her breed, Nova is intelligent, loyal, eager to please, loving, and has a strong personality. She’s fully housebroken, snores like a trucker, and is missing a few teeth on the side of her mouth, so her tongue sticks out all day. (It's very charming). Nova gets along with docile male dogs her size, but would also be happy as an only pet. She's a strong girl and still pulls a little on-leash, but isn't reactive to dogs or people. Consistency and some basic training will go a long way with Nova; she's a smart girl and picks up on things quickly. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion, apply today to bring Nova home. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
