Story
The man of the house has owned Kali since she was a puppy in 2018. She has had house mates, but gets anxious when she is outside of the house or when encountering unknown dogs. She and our other dog have gotten into fights requiring medical attention. She has never been aggressive with our two kids (11 & 3), but I would not say she loves being in a house with small kids and loud toys. She is trained to use a doggy door and would be best suited for a home with no other pets where the owners are home most of the time.

Story
Hi! I'm Aphrodite. I'm an approximately 2 year old, female Cane Corso mix who weighs about 90lbs. I was found off Wildflower Way in Rockwall on 04/07/2025 and sadly never reclaimed. I am a friendly and playful girl who enjoys the company of people. I was recently adopted and returned because I have separation anxiety. I am looking for a family that has plenty of time to spend with me. I am house trained but am not a fan of the crate. I really do like to stick to you like glue! I am great with other dogs and kids but have not yet met a cat. I've been told that I do not have a mean bone in my body! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. Due to my popularity, meet and greets will be by APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and am heartworm negative! Visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch with next steps.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. April 28, 2025, 12:43 pm

Story
Cocoa is a sweet, goofy, 3 year old Cane Corso/Great Dane mix. She is 95 pounds of pure love and affection, and she definitely doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t realize how big she is, because her favorite place is snuggled on your lap! Cocoa loves catching bubbles, playing keepy-uppy with balloons and playing fetch or tug of war. However, she is just as happy cuddling on the couch and watching TV with you. . She is crate trained and doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t mind her time there at all, especially if she has a bone to chew! Cocoa has a beautiful black coat and the sweetest puppy dog eyes you have ever seen. Cocoa has lived with her current family for 2 years, getting all the love and affection she can handle! However, she would really prefer to be the center of attention and needs to be the only pet. She is great with kids, but because of her size, older kids with experience with dogs are best. Cocoa needs a yard where she can run and play, especially if she will be crated while yourâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re at work. She is a guard dog by nature and will make sure you are always protected, but introductions to strangers must be slow. Cocoa is very smart and loves having a job to do, or else she can get into mischief. Cocoa is the most lovable goof you will ever meet! She deserves all the snuggles in the world, could you be the perfect home for her? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Cocoa, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
King Kush is an XL dog. He is a Cane Corso, a giant protective dog breed. King Kush is sweet with staff and his favorite humans, but not friendly with strangers. Because of his protective nature, he should only be adopted out to experienced large-dog owners. His overprotective behavior and large size could be dangerous for new pet owners. King has difficulty meeting new dogs, so bringing your current dog to meet King before adoption is required. King Kush has no experience with cats.
