Story
Meet Princess - A Brave Girl Ready for Her Second Chance Princess is an approximately 2-year-old Cane Corso/American Bulldog mix weighing around 56 pounds who is ready for a fresh start. She was surrendered when her previous family could no longer afford her care, but she is now safe and on the path to a much brighter future. When Princess arrived, she was underweight and had open wounds. With treatment and dedicated care, her wounds have healed, and she continues working toward a healthy weight. Through it all, she has remained gentle and sweet. Princess does well with other dogs, cats, and children. She is still learning household routines and is not yet housebroken or crate trained, but with patience and consistency, she has great potential to thrive in a loving home. Her adoption fee is $125. Princess is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and heartworm positive, with treatment fully sponsored by Rockwall PAWS. Staff are happy to answer any questions about her care. Princess has endured a lot, but her future is full of promise. She's ready for stability, love, and a family to call her own. Story
Meet Velvet — the 8-year-old Cane Corso who deserves to spend her golden years wrapped in love and comfort. After a life of being used for breeding, Velvet was discarded like yesterday’s news — underweight, struggling to move, and left at a shelter when she needed compassion the most. But despite everything she’s endured, Velvet’s spirit has never wavered. She’s incredibly sweet, lights up when she sees her people, and has the most endearing habit of “talking” to you when she’s excited. Loyal and affectionate, Velvet is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and will stick by your side through thick and thin. She’s great with dogs of all sizes and absolutely adores children. Velvet is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. X-rays showed no major joint damage, and since starting a high-quality supplement routine, Velvet is already showing huge improvements — she’s getting around better and becoming more active by the day. Velvet deserves so much more than what life has given her so far. She deserves soft beds, gentle hands, and someone who sees her not for what she was used for — but for the loving, soulful companion she is. If you're looking for a gentle giant to cherish, spoil, and love for the rest of her days, Velvet is ready to give her heart to you. Story
Cobain is a great house companion. He is protective of his family, especially to kids. He likes butt scratches, belly rubs, pats on the head. He is gonna lay his paws on you if he needs attention. He is going to sit in front of the door if he needs to go potty. Cobain needs daily walks. He plays well with large breed dogs but can be overpowering to small breeds. If one family member is sick, cobain can sense it and he will just sit beside that person. He prefers chicken and rice. He only eats twice a day. He needs a new home due to changes in our jobs.

Story
Meet Peanut Butter! Peanut Butter is an approximately 9-week-old (as of 03/16/26) male Anatolian Shepherd mix who currently weighs 11 lbs. This adorable pup was found at Harry Myers Park in Rockwall on 03/09/26, and after completing his stray hold with no owner coming forward, he is now looking for a loving forever home. Like all puppies, Peanut Butter is full of curiosity, energy, and potential. Puppies require time, patience, training, and consistency to grow into well-mannered adult dogs. His future family should be prepared to help him learn important life skills such as house training, crate training, basic obedience, proper socialization with people and other dogs, and appropriate chewing habits. Puppies thrive with structure, positive reinforcement, regular veterinary care, and plenty of exercise and mental enrichment. Peanut Butter's adoption fee is $125, which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, first round of puppy boosters, and first dewormer. All pets adopted under the age of 12 weeks are required to return to Rockwall Adoptions (RAC) for their spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccination in accordance with Texas state law. Peanut Butter is scheduled to be neutered on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, and this date is non-negotiable. All underage pets require an approved online adoption application before meet and greets can be scheduled. Meet and greets are arranged on a first-come, first-served basis by approved application only. To submit an adoption application, please visit: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ If you're ready for the fun, training, and lifelong commitment that comes with raising a puppy, Peanut Butter may be the perfect addition to your family.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. Story
Meet Champ - A Big Heart Looking for the Right Home Champ is a 2-year-old, 71-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix who has been waiting over 326 days (as of 02/20/26) for his forever family. As one of our Diamond Dogs, his adoption fee is just $75 - but the devotion he offers is truly priceless. Champ is deeply people-focused and bonds hard with his person. He thrives on connection and wants to be part of daily life, whether that's structured walks, training time, or relaxing at your feet. He walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys pack walks, and has shown he responds well to consistent guidance and leadership. He's intelligent, eager to learn, and does best with clear boundaries and routine. Champ is playful and energetic, especially outdoors, and would enjoy a home that can match his enthusiasm. He may do well with a carefree, submissive female canine companion, or he may prefer soaking up all the attention as the only dog. He is not suited for homes with cats or small animals. Because of his size, strength, and loyal nature, Champ would do best with older children or adults who are comfortable handling a large dog. He also requires a securely fenced yard (minimum 8-foot fence, no chain link) and should not be left unattended outside. Champ is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm positive, with treatment fully covered thanks to Rockwall PAWS. Champ isn't just looking for a home - he's looking for his person. In the right environment, he will be an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who gives his whole heart. Apply to adopt Champ here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Champ is ready for his fresh start.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
