Meet Princess! Princess is an approximately 2-year-old female Cane Corso/American Bulldog mix weighing around 56 pounds. She came to the shelter after being surrendered because her previous family was no longer able to financially care for her. Despite a difficult start, Princess is now safe and beginning her journey toward a brighter future. Princess is a sweet, gentle girl who does well with other dogs, cats, and children. She is still learning basic household routines and is not yet housebroken or crate trained, but with patience, consistency, and love, she has great potential to thrive in a home environment. Princess arrived underweight and with open wounds. She has received treatment and the wounds are now healed. She is still working on a gaining and maintaining her weight. RAC staff will be happy to discuss her condition and care with approved applicants. Adoption Fee: $125 She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her yearly boosters. She did test heartworm positive but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her treatment is sponsored, and she will be able to receive treatment right away. Feel free to ask staff if you have any questions about heartworms or Princess's treatment. He is going to sit in front of the door if he needs to go potty. Cobain needs daily walks. He plays well with large breed dogs but can be overpowering to small breeds. If one family member is sick, cobain can sense it and he will just sit beside that person. He prefers chicken and rice. He only eats twice a day. He needs a new home due to changes in our jobs.
