Story
We are looking to rehome our 2 year old corso male corso. He is papered but his papers will not be going with him.The good: He is house trained, he can sit, stay, lie down, he is great with all of the kids, he is big healthy and beautiful, the few times he’s been off leash his recall was excellent. He is UTD on rabies however he has not had any other shots since he was boarded last year. We have a bunny who he has cohabitated with peacefully. Trims nails and bathes easily. Not food aggressive (only tested with adults). The not so good:•He has marked in the carpet in our spare room when our guest left after staying for a week. Since then he has not been allowed on carpet.•He does not get along with other dogs and this can be a problem when walking him if you’re not comfortable with corrections and can’t maintain a stubborn dog. He is stubborn (as most corsos are).We are charging $100 adoption fee, this money will go back to help with his adopters neutering expense once they choose a vet.

Story
Neidine is a beautiful 2-year-old Cane Corso with a stunning brindle coat and a gentle, sensitive soul. She can be shy and timid at first, but with patience and kindness, she begins to show her sweet nature. In the right home, Neidine will continue to grow, learn to trust, and discover what it feels like to be truly loved. She’s ready for a calm, caring family to help her bloom into the confident companion she’s meant to be.FOSTER REASON: I am being treated for heartworms and awaiting a dental procedure, so I will need a calm home to relax in due to being under exercise restriction while undergoing treatment. This means I will need to be a couch potato and go for leash walks only! My foster family should be comfortable bringing me to the SPCA of Texas periodically for vet visits. Come meet me from 12 PM to 5 PM, open every day.No application or appointment required — walk-ins welcome.SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212Only interested in fostering? Story
Hi… I’m Monica. I might not be the kind of girl who runs right up to greet you—but if you give me a little time, I promise I’m worth the wait. I’m a 5-year-old Cane Corso, and new people and new places can make me a bit unsure at first. I like to take things slow, observe, and figure out if everything feels safe. But once I do? That’s when you’ll see the real me—the loyal, gentle, deeply loving companion I truly am. A peaceful home, a predictable routine, and someone patient who understands that good things take time—that’s where I shine. Loud, busy environments aren’t really my style, but a cozy space with someone kind? That’s my dream.FOSTER REASON: I am waiting on a dental procedure before I can be ready for adoption. I am available for Foster-To-Adopt though so we can get to know each other before making things official. Come meet me from 12 PM to 5 PM, open every day. No application or appointment required - walk-ins welcome. SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212

Story
Meet Champ – The Underdog Ready to Win Your Heart Champ isn't just his name- it's who he is. This 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix (71 lbs) has spent 411 days waiting as of 05/16/26, and through it all, he has never stopped believing that his person is out there. As one of our Diamond Dogs, his adoption fee is just $75- but the loyalty, devotion, and heart he brings are truly priceless. Champ is the kind of dog who forms a deep, unbreakable bond with his person. He is incredibly people-focused, always looking to connect, and thrives when he has someone to call his own. Once you're in his circle, you're everything to him. He walks beautifully on a leash, is intelligent and eager to learn, and does best with structure, routine, and confident leadership. Champ is not just looking for a home- he's looking for a teammate, someone who will guide him, believe in him, and let him be the loyal companion he was meant to be. Champ would do best in a home with older children or adults who are comfortable with a large, strong dog. He is not a match for homes with cats or small animals and will require a securely fenced yard (6Âפ ft, no chain link). He may do well with a submissive female dog or thrive as the only pet where he can fully focus on his person. After more than a year in the shelter, Champ is more than ready to step into the life he deserves- a life where he is no longer waiting, but finally home. Champ is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative as of 03/27/26. If you're looking for a dog who will stand by your side, be fiercely loyal, and give you his whole heart, Champ is ready to meet you. He's waited long enough- now it's his time to win. Story
Meet Molly, a 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who weighs approximately 93 pounds and is looking for the right home to match her loyal and intelligent personality. Molly was surrendered to our facility after she was not compatible with the other dogs in her previous home. She is very treat-motivated, knows several basic commands, walks well on a leash, and even knows some fun tricks like offering her paw for a “shake.” Molly appears to be both housebroken and crate trained, which should help make her transition into a new home smoother. As a middle-aged, extra-large breed dog, Molly prefers a calmer environment and is past the stage of puppy antics. Because of this, she would do best in a home with children 16 years or older, or in an adult-only household. Molly does not do well with female dogs but may coexist with a calm, large-breed male. If you currently have a large male dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure they are a good match. Molly's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on her rabies vaccination, and up to date on basic boosters. If you are interested in meeting Molly, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/our-pets/available-dogs/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
