Story
We are looking to rehome our 2 year old corso male corso. He is papered. The good: He is house trained, he can sit, stay, lie down, he is great with all of the kids, he is big healthy and beautiful, the few times he’s been off leash his recall was excellent. He is UTD on rabies. We have a bunny who he has cohabitated with peacefully. Trims nails and bathes easily. Not food aggressive. He loves people and is very friendly once he’s introduced. He is very protective and will bark at the door and growl if someone enters unannounced. The not so good:•He has marked in the carpet in our spare room when our guest left after staying for a week. Since then he has not been allowed on carpet.•He does not get along with other dogs and may pull towards other dogs when walking if they get close. We are charging $100 adoption fee, this money will go back to help with his adopters neutering expense once they choose a vet.

Story
Cobain is a wonderful dog who deserves a family that can give him the love, care, and activity he needs. Due to my busy schedule, my priority is finding him a safe, responsible, and loving home where he can thrive. I am not interested in taking him to a shelter. I want to make sure he goes to someone who will treat him as part of the family. The reason why I put an adoption fee is to make sure that he is going to an experienced and responsible pet owner. If you or someone you know may be interested in giving Cobain a loving home, please send me a message. I would be happy to answer any questions and discuss whether it would be a good fit. Thank you for understanding and for helping me find the best future for my boy.

Story
My 1-year-old Cane Corso is a loving, loyal, and affectionate companion. I acquired her as a young puppy from a family member who breeds Cane Corsos, and she has been raised in a caring home. She is intelligent, gentle, playful, and well-behaved. She has been around my young niece and has always done wonderfully with her. She enjoys attention, companionship, and being part of the family. I am looking for a loving home with enough space for her to play, exercise, and thrive. Most importantly, I want her to be with someone who will prioritize her health, happiness, and well-being. Rehoming her is a very difficult decision, but due to a new work position, I can no longer give her the time and attention she deserves. My goal is to find her a caring forever home where she will continue to be loved and treated as a valued member of the family. I would much rather see her placed with a caring family than sold to a breeder or surrendered to a shelter.

These pups are in Fate, Texas too!

Story
Meet Champ – The Underdog Ready to Win Your Heart Champ isn't just his name- it's who he is. This 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix (71 lbs) has spent 444 days waiting as of 06/18/26, and through it all, he has never stopped believing that his person is out there. As one of our Diamond Dogs, his adoption fee is just $75- but the loyalty, devotion, and heart he brings are truly priceless. Champ is the kind of dog who forms a deep, unbreakable bond with his person. He is incredibly people-focused, always looking to connect, and thrives when he has someone to call his own. Once you're in his circle, you're everything to him. He walks beautifully on a leash, is intelligent and eager to learn, and does best with structure, routine, and confident leadership. Champ is not just looking for a home- he's looking for a teammate, someone who will guide him, believe in him, and let him be the loyal companion he was meant to be. Champ would do best in a home with older children or adults who are comfortable with a large, strong dog. He is not a match for homes with cats or small animals and will require a securely fenced yard (6Âפ ft, no chain link). He may do well with a submissive female dog or thrive as the only pet where he can fully focus on his person. After more than a year in the shelter, Champ is more than ready to step into the life he deserves- a life where he is no longer waiting, but finally home. Champ is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative as of 03/27/26. If you're looking for a dog who will stand by your side, be fiercely loyal, and give you his whole heart, Champ is ready to meet you. He's waited long enough- now it's his time to win. Apply to adopt: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. July 3, 2026, 3:20 am

Story
Meet Molly! Molly is a 6-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who weighs approximately 93 pounds and is looking for the right home to match her loyal and intelligent personality. Molly was surrendered to our facility after she was not compatible with the other dogs in her previous home. Molly is very treat-motivated, knows several basic commands, walks well on a leash, and even knows some fun tricks like offering her paw for a shake. She appears to be both house trained and crate trained, which should help make her transition into a new home a smooth one. As a middle-aged, extra-large breed dog, Molly prefers a calmer environment and is well past the puppy stage. Because of this, she would do best in a home with children 16 years of age or older, or in an adult-only household. Molly does not do well with female dogs but may coexist with a calm, large-breed male dog. If you currently have a large male dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to help ensure a good fit. Molly is now a Diamond Dog, which means her adoption fee has been reduced to just $75 in hopes of helping her find the loving home she deserves. Molly has been in shelter care for 128 days as of 07/01/26. Molly is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on her rabies vaccination, and up to date on her basic boosters. If you are interested in meeting Molly, please submit an adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com.
