Story
We are looking for a home for Samson that is experienced with mastiff/molosser breeds. We adopted him 2 months ago from PRAS and have found that our family is not equipped to give him the training and socialization that is so important for his long term well being. Potential adopters will be vetted and previous experience with his type of breed is an absolute MUST. We have 5 children including 8 month old twins and he has done well with the children but doesn’t know his size so I would say a home without toddlers/babies is best. He is house broken, neutered, crate trained, and knows sit, no, and kennel. He is still a puppy and therefore working on not chewing things up (loves shoes) and is still sometimes mouthy with puppy bites though is easily corrected with redirecting to toys or a firm “no bite”. He is 100% Cane Corso and I have his DNA results that also include health testing. Samson will need consistent, ongoing training. Vet references required.

This precious girl is Nova! Nova was surrendered here at the NSPCA due to no fault of her own when her owner could no longer care for her. Nova is a large cuddle bug and would love nothing more than a human companion to cuddle with. Nova is an all around puppy, she loves to play and tends to jump on people when she gets excited but with a little patience some treats she has been doing quite well. An amazing dog that never barks very calm demeanor. Very sweet I recently separated with my wife and since Im in the military I literally just don’t have time to keep up with him. He is a beautiful amazing dog no issues for me whatsoever. He has never displayed aggression but can show insecurity if a relationship is rushed as long as you are loving and gentle with him he will protect and love you forever. I just want the best for him he is the most deserving dog I’ve ever had.

Story
Nova is a beautiful full-blooded blue (gray) 1 yo female Cane Corso. She is very active, full of love and is ready for the right home. She knows several commands and is house and crate trained. She is not spayed as we were told to wait until she is at least two years old for this breed. Unfortunately, we have an older male Corso who she has been not getting along with for a really long time, and it has finally gotten to be too much. Not sure if it is all dogs or just our Corso as he is very grumpy and is not about her active lifestyle. We also have cats, and she has never had any issues with them. We have tried just about everything, but she needs a home where she can get more one on one love and attention. Corsos are a very special breed, and we are looking for someone with Corso or other large dog experience.
