Story
Zoo and Zee came to us as an emergency surrender due to their owners being unable to find pet friendly housing. Zoo is a very smart pup and knows lots of tricks our staff would love to show you! Zoo does enjoy the company of other dogs. Zee does not.. Zee is much younger than Zoo and is quite hyperactive. She will require more patience and training. Zee does tolerate her brother but is very reactive and unfriendly towards dogs that aren't Zoo. Zoo and Zee whether taken home separate or together will be very loyal and sweet companions! Due to the high energy and sheer size of these pups we recommend they do not live in an apartment or condo setting. As they will take up alot of space! Come and meet these sweet heffalumps!*Zee and Zoo have lived together and enjoy each others company but are not required to be adopted to the same home**Zee and Zoo have lived together and enjoy each others company but are not required to be adopted to the same home*

Story
He is a very affectionate dog, loves people and ear rubs. Potty trained and walk well on lease and while riding a bike. He is kennel trained and does not go on the furniture. We do not have time to train and play with him as much as he need us too. My son also is itchy around him. Which is unfortunate because he is such a great dog.

Story
Maui is a kind, energetic, sweet dog. He does well with most pets, he is very energetic at first meet ups, so can be overwhelming for some if not most pets at first, but eventually will calm down. Maui is the more energetic of the mastiff breed and as such requires walks/runs (1-2 miles) at least once a day the more the merrier, if you do this, he will turn to his roots and sleep for the next 3-4 hours. If you skip out on the walks you will notice a surge in energy and can get very vocal at home. He is great with kids but is a large dog who thinks he is a lap dog, so he can get playful with kids and push them around. He does have skin issues and requires a shot every two months, it’s about $170 (based off of weight). He has also had foreign object surgery (swallowed a corn cob) but has since recovered. I’m active duty military and haven’t been able to give him the care and attention he deserves. He came to me at a hard time in my life, so I’m sad, but want to ensure he’s homed.

Story
ALPHA - 4 years old, 75 pounds, house trained, kid/cat/dog social., Addison's disease.             *active             *playful             *wonderful girl!             *loves going on adventures             *crate trained but the crate must be ziptied bc she knows how to unlatch the crate             *loves dog beds, specifically to tear them up              *sensitive when reached around her neck             *submissive to humans             *loves to cuddle on the couch             *couch cushions are the only ones she hasn't torn up!    Alpha has lived happily in her home until a new baby arrived and she started showing destructive behaviors towards the baby's things. Her previous family was insistent that she was not doing anything to anyone or any child, it was just towards the baby's items. Alpha even tried playing with the baby but it was too rough. She would try to get in between the baby and parents for attention. Alpha is looking for a home with children she can play with! She's a rough and tumble girl who also enjoys lying around cuddling when playtime is over. Alpha is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see her, please just ask to meet her! Story
She’s a sweet girl and as all Corso breeds, she forms strong bonds to her handler. She’s been raised with another Corso that’s 3 years old, and our shepherd/lab mix rescue. She’s also been raised around my 5 year old son. She needs a strong leader and lots of love. Due to surgeries I have coming up for myself, and some landlord issues I’m unable to keep her. We just won’t have the time this sweet girl needs and it wouldn’t be fair to her.

Story
Ralph is a handsome Bull Mastiff that is a young, 14 month old boy, weighing 160 pounds but thinks he is a Chihuahua and can sit in your lap.  This serious looking boy is nothing but a MUSH at heart and his favorite things in life are to lay on the couch and have you pet him while his head is in your lap.  This dog truly does not know he is 160 pounds.  If you love the huge dogs in the world, then Ralph is ready to be the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE!   He has lost his home because his senior owners have fallen into bad health and cannot care for their 5 dogs.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is committed to helping rehome their wonderful dogs.  If you are interested in this boy, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 20, 2024, 2:36 pm
