~ I can live in any size home, including apartments, as long as I can get a lot of activity and play time.~ I have not had much experience with children but am willing to consider sharing my home with dog-savvy kids who can be gentle and respectful of pets.~ I have not yet much experience with cats but am open to living with a feline friend.~ I am open to living with another dog, but can be particular about how we play and interact. I need to meet any dogs in the home prior to adoption.~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders. Daisy was brought in with day old puppies, surrendered due to her being chained to a dog house. She is sweet girl who loves people! She is energetic, happy and gets along with other dogs. She has a very joyful personality who did not let her start ruin her life. She knows her name, does okay on a leash and does well in a car. She would be a great adventure companion who is open to new adventures with a new family.
