Hi- my name is Jetania! I came to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue from another rescue that was overcrowded and needed help. I am estimated at 1.5 years old as of end of March and weigh about 30lbs. I look like a Carolina dog, maybe mixed with Basengi- rescue’s best guess. I walk great on leash and even know some of my basic commands. I am looking for a fairly active family where we can go on lots of walks and adventures. I tend to get along with other dogs; but, please, let’s do a proper meet and greet first! I'm not good with cats.When I first arrived I was heartworm positive, but thanks to my new rescue, I was treated and I have now tested heartworm negative!My $250 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip.If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Hi my name is Khloe! I was dumped at a local gas station and was trying to fend for myself. I got turned into the county animal services as a stray- even though I am microchipped, my owners never cared to claim me. Thankfully, the nice people at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue stepped up and pulled me from the county services. I was pretty crazy with a lot of puppy energy when I first came to the rescue, but all the nice people here have helped me learn better manners- so now I am looking for my REAL furever family! I am estimated to be about 1 1/2yrs old and I appear to be Carolina dog possibly mixed with corgi, best guess. Whatever my mix is, I have the most beautiful eyes and coat!I am very playful and energetic, so would do best with a family who is as active and outgoing as me. I seem to get along with most other dogs; please, let’s do safe and proper introductions first. I try to play with the cats, but they don’t tend to appreciate my energy much.
