Story

Charlie - The Big-Eared Sweetie Pie Imagine this tiny puppy, hungry and frightened, with no idea where he is or why the people he trusted left him behind. That was Charlie’s reality when he was found dumped and abandoned on a beach in Puerto Rico. 😢 He was scared. He was hungry. And he was all alone. But then someone stopped and saw him. Someone cared. And little by little, Charlie began to discover that the world could be a kind place after all. ❤️ Today, this adorable little boy is showing his foster family what a sweet soul he truly is. Charlie is super gentle, incredibly loving, and absolutely precious — especially those BIG, adorable ears! 🥹🐾 He loves being around people and is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. He has so much love to give and just needs what every puppy deserves: a safe home, a soft place to sleep, and someone who will never abandon him again. Charlie is currently in Puerto Rico with his foster family, who adore him and know he will be a wonderful addition to any family. He is so full of love and fun! His adoption fee includes transportation to anywhere in the mainland US (except the west coast). Charlie has already survived the hardest part of his story. Now he’s waiting for the part where he gets his happily ever after. 💙 Charlie is ready for his forever family.

Story

Maverick is a sweet, loyal 9-year-old who loves being outside, going for walks, and spending lazy days inside by the window. He can be shy and nervous, so he needs a patient, experienced owner who can give him lots of love, attention, and consistency. He is obedient and responds well to firm, confident commands. Maverick has a protective/guard-dog instinct. On two occasions in the past, he has reacted aggressively toward strangers entering the home when his owner was not present. This is not a frequent behavior, but his future owner should understand and be comfortable managing this trait. Maverick has spent his entire life with Luna, our 9-year-old Weimaraner, and they are very bonded. We would love for them to stay together if possible. Rehoming him is heartbreaking, but due to my allergies, I can no longer keep him. Our goal is to find Maverick a loving, experienced home where he will be understood, cared for, and cherished.
