Story
Adopt Halo — the handsome, heavenly pup who’s ready to glow up your life! At just 2 years old and 43 lbs, Halo is the perfect blend of gentle sweetness and puppyish charm. His past wasn’t easy — he likely didn’t get enough food or freedom in his former home — but those days are long behind him. Since joining his amazing foster family in March 2024, Halo has been blossoming into the bright, loving companion he was always meant to be. Let’s talk about his looks for a second. Halo’s ice-blue eyes will stop you in your tracks, and his adorable perky ears make him look like he jumped straight out of a storybook. He’s a shy guy at first, but once he feels safe? Get ready for a total lovebug. He’s snuggly, social, silly, and eager to learn — he already knows “sit” and “lay down” for treats! Halo’s favorite things include: Lounging outside like a little sun-powered angel Easy, happy leash walks Making new dog friends Being near his people Chewing on enrichment toys that help him settle and relax He’s crate-trained, impeccably house-trained, great with other dogs, and would do well with dog-savvy kids 15+ who understand he needs a gentle approach as he continues building confidence. No cats for Halo, please. After everything he’s been through, Halo deserves nothing less than a home filled with patience, kindness, and love… plus a steady supply of treats, of course! Halo is fully vetted, microchipped, neutered, and SO ready for his happily-ever-after. Are you the one who will help this sweet boy shine? If you can open your heart & home to dear, deserving Halo, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Halo at AmsterDog.org. Halo is currently being fostered in southern NJ. Transportation provided for approved adopters. Thanks for caring about a pet in need!

Story
Nickel and Yen are 10 month old pups who have spent their entire puppyhood in Foster. They came to us as 3 to 4 month old pups and have been overlooked all this time. They are medium size (between 40 to 50 pounds) and ready to start their lives with their forever families. Nickel was adopted at one point and then returned because his family decided they didn’t want a dog. He lived with two pre teen kids and kissed them so lovingly. They are working on basic commands and still have a lot to learn but are very trainable. They are food motivated and eager to please! If you think either Nickel or Yen could work for your home please apply Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application. Please go to www.easelnj.org/adopt to submit an adoption application. Someone will be in touch within 48 hours.

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Robin is a 3-year-old male and a true survivor! He has overcome incredible odds and deserves the best forever home. Two years ago, this brave boy was on the euthanasia list due to a severe injury after getting caught in a kennel door. We saved his leg, and although it's permanently deformed, it doesn’t slow him down one bit! Robin has a pawsitively infectious zest for life! Weighing about 47 pounds, he is most likely a mix of Carolina dog, Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, and maybe even some Kelpie. With that DNA and his resilient spirit, Robin truly is a super mutt! Here are some more things to know about Robin: He is potty and crate trained and understands basic commands. He is also a saint in a crate. Robin is great with other dogs and kids and loves being around humans of all ages. He walks well on a leash and loves exploring the world with you. He’s a resilient, loving, and spirited dog who’s ready to fill your home with joy and companionship. Interested in becoming a forever home for Robin? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Robin. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Robin the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
