Story
Just look at those stunning blue eyes! Gigi is sure to captivate anyone she encounters with her gorgeous blue eyes, beautiful red coat, and her petite little frame. Add to that a fun and happy-go-lucky personality, and you’ve got an unforgettable companion! At just 39 lbs and almost a year old, we don’t expect her to get any bigger. She is the perfect size for cuddles on the couch, and outdoor adventures. We think she may be a Carolina Dog and Husky mix, but that’s just a guess. The reality is she’s probably a mixture of multiple breeds; a true Texas surprise! Gigi is the life of the party. Despite a rough start to life, she continues to bring joy, laughter, and fun everywhere she goes. She loves to let loose and run and roughhouse with her doggy friends, and then cuddle up with her humans for a nice long nap. Gigi is cat-friendly too! Gigi is still young, so she has a fair amount of energy. Since she is great with other dogs, she would do really well at the dog park, or doggy daycare to help get out some of that energy. She loves to go on walks and hikes, and could even make a great running partner. She will need to brush up a little on her leash skills though. She has lived in an apartment and does well as long as she gets adequate exercise. This cutie is just bursting with personality. She loves attention and affection from humans, and loves to play. She always has a big smile on her face, cheering up anyone around. Gigi is a very smart girl who is already potty and crate trained. She is food motivated and learns quickly. Gigi is a one-of-a-kind girl! Don’t miss your chance to make her part of your family! Currently fostered in Texas, she is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready to travel to her forever home in the PNW and NE areas. Apply here! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6612b1cc6858a1a6c50f0c51 Please email Leah.Smith@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Adoption fee includes transport to these states: WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, CT, VT, NY, PA, OH and BC Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, approximately 30 minutes from the Canadian border). Brought by USDA licensed transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! Our dogs travel in style in our transport vehicle, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Local adoption in Texas is also available. The adoption fee is $775 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with a free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby, you also receive many other additional perks such as a • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program, prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue just celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 11,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Video 1: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VQkMkVkslVk Video 2: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HInTvWfIQPY Sunshine is the happiest girl who loves water, romping around in the woods, and playing with other dogs. She's been around cats since she came to the rescue a few months ago. She weighs around 35 lbs and is about 6 months old. She is very friendly and sweet. Be sure to watch the videos. Based on her looks, she is probably a Carolina dog mix or Dingo mix or Kelpie mix but of course we don't know for sure. Her and her two sisters were living in a home that was right on the highway with no fence and I saw them sitting in the road on multiple occasions. When I saw an adult dog deceased on the road right in front of the house, I asked the owners if they would surrender the puppies and they did and that's how Sunshine was saved from being run over by a car eventually. Sunshine is currently in Oklahoma where she was rescued, but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport locations. There is no possibility to do a meet and greet. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $500 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95
