WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Ainsley! Hi, I'm Ainsley! I was born on January 18, 2023, and I'm a proud German Shepherd/Carolina Dog mix. I'm a spayed girl who weighs about 50 pounds, and I'm fully current on all my vaccinations, so I'm ready for adventure whenever you are. People say I'm always smiling, and honestly, they're right. I love life! I'm athletic, full of energy, and happiest when I'm on the move. If there's water nearby, I'm in it. Lakes, creeks, the garden hose... it doesn't matter. If it's wet, I'm there with my tail wagging. I'm great with kids and get along with every dog I meet. I love playing, exploring, and being part of the pack. I'm friendly, social, and always ready for the next good time. If you're looking for a happy, active girl who will smile at you every day, splash through every puddle, and love your whole family (two-legged and four-legged), I'd be thrilled to be your girl. Come meet me. I can't wait to show you my smile in person!

Story
Lila went on a Shelter Paws! From the Chaperone: `Lila and I went to The Rim, grabbed something to eat, and walked around for a while. After that, we went to the park to hang out and get some fresh air. We finished the day with a relaxing car ride before heading home. It was a really nice little adventure together.Lila was super chill and easygoing! She was happy just hanging out, walking around, and enjoying the day. She has such a calm, sweet personality and was a great little adventure buddy.Lila could work a little on her leash manners. She tends to pull while walking, but otherwise she was very well-behaved and easygoing.`

Story
Camp SNIPSA at Lone Star State K9 Bunk 4 (The Goodest Boys) Dear Future Family, Greetings from Summer Camp! I’m writing to you because the counselors here say I’ve officially been voted "Camper of the Week" TWICE now! They told me it’s time to start packing my bags because my forever family is out there looking for me right now. Camp has been a wild ride. I’ve been working really hard on my badges over the past two months. Here is what I’ve achieved so far: The Shadow Badge: Granted for my expert ability to stay right by your side and be your most loyal companion. The Perfect Fetch Badge: Unlike some campers, when you throw the ball, I actually bring it back. Every. Single. Time. The Good Manners Badge: I’m fully kennel-trained and ready for a real home. Because I’m a Carolina Dog/Husky mix, I definitely get voted "Most Athletic" around here. I have plenty of energy and would thrive in a home that loves hiking, agility, or giving me fun "jobs" to keep my smart brain busy. The counselors say I'm the full package: affectionate, spunky, and full of life. I’ve done the work, I've graduated camp, and I’m ready to come home. All that's missing... is you! Can you come pick me up? Love, Val

Story
Glitz, sparkle, gleam, and glam... this girl is ready to stick to you like GLITTER! Arriving from the streets of San Antonio, Girlypop found refuge with a local animal lover and has been loving on SNIPSA ever since! Girlypop is sweet in nature and outgoing with both people and dogs alike. When we first met her, we couldn't get over her flaming red hair and fun personality. Being a staff of mostly girls, we all "oohed" and "aahed" over her as she bounced from girl tech to girl tech, giving her the name "Girlypop." In her foster home, her current foster refers to her as "Jolene," as they note: "We've been calling her Jolene, from the Dolly Parton song, with her auburn hair, and we can't compete with Jolene for our boys' attention. They are having the best time; the black and white dog is Buck, whom we adopted from SNIPSA four years ago. He is usually a little hesitant around the new fosters, but he fell in love the moment we brought her home. They are just smitten!" Girlypop gets along great with her foster brothers, joining in on both playtime and long walks. Her foster also notes that she loves to nap next to her desk while she works. She's an all-around good girl! As a young gal, she will require continued socialization and training. Though we must say she's excellent in her crate and in the house! With a personality like hers, her companionship is sure to pay off! So, if you are looking for your next best friend, Girlypop is YOUR GIRL!

Story
She is about 3 years old, with lots of energy. I got her from my parents who are in their 80’s. Her playful energy tripped my mother and we don’t want it to happen again. She is always happy and ready to play. I can’t keep her due to not having the time to spend with her.
