Check out this handsome guy! Could this be your Valentino? A boy with a classic rescue story, Valentino was adopted as a puppy, but he was sadly picked up by Animal Care Services in his adulthood. When their staff reached out to us about his SNIPSA microchip, we just couldn’t leave him behind! We don’t know what happened to Valentino’s owner, but we are glad to give him the opportunity to find a loving family again. Valentino is both affectionate and spunky. He enjoys games of fetch, always making sure to bring the ball back when he’s ready for another round. He is also perfectly kennel-trained, though his favorite spot is right by your side. It’s clear that he was dearly loved at one point. Being a Carolina Dog/Husky blend, it is important to note that Valentino has lots of energy. He would benefit from training in his new home and a job to do. Whether he becomes your new hiking partner, hunting buddy, or superstar in dog agility competitions, one thing is for certain: the more time you spend with him, the happier he will be! Valentino is a stunner, but most importantly, a lover. Apply to meet him today!

Story
Meet Nacho! Nacho walked into our driveway a few years ago and never left. We have searched and it seems like he is a Carolina Dog. Nacho is generally sweet with a laid back personality with those he knows and trusts. He is very protective and will bark at just about anything that goes by the door or window. We believe Nacho was dumped near our house and most likely abused. (He doesn't care for others being near his food bowl.) We need to find nacho a new home because we no longer have the capacity to care for him. We’ve kept him for multiple years, not knowing what to do with him, but we never really intended to keep him. He needs a larger yard where he can run and protect the yard. He also comes with a large kennel!

These pups are in San Antonio, Texas too!

Story
Meet Jimmy! Jimmy is a 1-year-old Basenji and Boxer mix with the sweetest face and an irresistibly fun, playful personality. At about 34 pounds, he is a great medium size, big enough for adventure and play, yet still convinced that lap time is part of the deal. Jimmy loves squeaky toys, a good game of tug-of-war, and being right by your side. He enjoys engaging with his people and thrives on companionship and shared activities. He gets along great with other dogs and would do especially well in a home with another canine friend to play with and bond with. Jimmy has a wonderful balance of playful energy and affection, making him a great match for someone looking for a medium-sized dog with a loving, social nature. Jimmy is looking for a home that will appreciate his joyful personality, playful spirit, and sweet heart. If you are searching for a fun, affectionate companion who is always happy to be near you, Jimmy may be the perfect fit. Story
Tall ears, long legs, and a body built for speed... that’s our Pinto! This guy could rival even the most experienced runway models; the world is his stage, and humans are his favorite audience. It is no surprise that he’s a total crowd favorite at SNIPSA! Pinto was found wandering the streets of San Antonio with his sister, Tanner. Today, he is thriving in a foster home alongside his SNIPSA pals (aka his foster siblings). Pinto has naturally stepped into the "big brother" role, teaching them the ropes of yard exploration, gentle play, and impeccable mealtime etiquette. As we head into the New Year, Pinto has been working on his 2026 goals. He would like you to know that as we ring in the new year, his resolutions are as follows: Master the "Big Brother" Walk: Continue mentoring his foster siblings with grace until he finds a family of his own. Optimize Nap Efficiency: Perfect the art of the post-runway nap and cuddles. Spread Maximum Joy: Ensure every human he meets feels like a superstar. Secure A Forever Home: Above all, Pinto longs for a permanent place to strut his stuff. Could you be the one to make his ultimate wish come true? Submit your application today!

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.
