She does great with little kids, is house trained, sleeps on her bed in the Foster parents room without issue, and is crate trained for times she needs to be left alone. She would be a great addition to any family, especially someone willing to give her some attention outdoors.From the day she joined her foster family, she fit right in and felt at ease. She immediately went to the back door to be let out to potty, went for walks on a leash without issue, and cuddled on the couch watching Peppa Pig with the kids. Petra was found in a parking lot on a hot summer day in Texas as a puppy back in 2020. She made herself right at home and it was easy to see she had a big personality. Petra is most likely a Carolina dog, aka Dingo, and is around 4 years old. She LOVES being around people and other dogs. She has never met a stranger and will hypnotize you into petting her with her big golden eyes. Her perfect day would be spent outside playing with her humans and other furry friends followed by an evening inside cuddling on the couch binge watching your favorite shows. She's not a barker but will sass you (like a husky) on occasion when she's feeling extra. She loves car rides and hikes but doesn't like swimming. Petra is sweet, outgoing, silly and has energy to spare but will also be a couch potato when she wants.

We have absolutely loved having Dwight be apart of our family but it seems as though he is not loving the adjustment of us having a baby. It’s been a little over a year and we’ve noticed he is very cranky and agitated / anxious around our little one…which has caused him to not get along so well with our senior dog. We’ve run into a few issues and we truly feel that Dwight deserves better. A home where he does not have to tiptoe around a baby, where he can be comfortable and loved.

Meet Troy Bolton!  He is  Athletic, Handsome and sometimes even shy!  He is about 2 years old and only weighs 30 lbs!  He needs a home and a yard with a fence like most dogs. He is good with dogs.  Currently he is with an older 10 lb female and plays well with same aged 60 lb dog!  Good with 14 yr old female – no younger kids in the Foster Family.  He is good in a car - he is finally getting used to it!  He is potty trained and doesn't mark. He is learning how to walk on a leash and getting better!  Troy would be best with older kids since he is not used to lots of noises. He is  skittish and shy. He is scared of everything inside and outside the house – almost as if he was just kept in a crate all day.  He needs an experienced dog family. He will warm up to you eventually if you sit on the patio step and let him come to you.  He needs to learn and trust and he wil and is with his foster family.  Once he warms up to you, he will play ball. He plays nice ball with the other 60 lb dog in the Foster Family – did not witness any aggression or fighting over the ball. He is still working on “drop it” but he will “sit” and wait for you to throw the ball – then he will fetch it. It would be ideal for him to have another dog to learn from and play with!   He is a sweet boy who is worth having a loving family love him and build his selfl confidence! ##1816160##
