Story
This is Elliot II. She is very sweet and cuddly! Elliot is 10 years old, 40 lbs, and a mixed breed (Carolina dog maybe?). She was rescued from Guam with 2 other dogs when my sister was stationed there. When they moved to the States, Elliot fell in love with me so much that my sister let me keep her. She’s been with me and part of my family for about 6 years. Due to my personal health issues, I’m looking for a new home for Elliot. I still love her but she deserves a loving home that can take care of her. Elliot is a friendly, sweet dog who likes to stay home and cuddle her humans. She’s ok with other animals and children in the house. I’ve fostered other animals and she’s previously interacted with children. Elliot is happiest with adult humans. She loves to get a lot of attention and then go lie down near her humans. An ideal home for Elliot would be one with adult humans, maybe older children, living in a home with a fenced-in yard and doggy door. Elliot doesn’t like to go on walks. She is house-trained and knows several commands. She’s treat-motivated and has learned several commands over the years, so she’s smart enough to learn more. She takes heart medications because of a heart murmur, but she is asymptomatic (has no symptoms/issues). Elliot is a really loving dog who deserves a loving home. If you think you would be able to love this adorable dog, please apply to adopt Elliot II today. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Elliot II, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
