Story
Boo is just about the sweetest girl! But has such a sad, all too-common, Houston dog story. This cutie pie had a home, where she thought she was loved. But one day they took a drive. Her family took off her collar and left her at an awful place where they gave her days to find a new home or else. Well you guessed it, Boo was on the list, having done nothing wrong. She was going to pay with her life for being picked by the wrong people as a pup. So unfair! But luck was on her side as we were able to get her thanks to recent adoptions and fosters. Thank goodness!!! Boo is just about 40 pounds, 3 years old, possibly a beagle/lab mix. She is just starting to come out of her shell and play a bit. She loves hugs and desperately wants to be close. If you are interested in adopting or fostering this very precious girl complete the appropriate application and we will be in touch right away!  February 21, 2024, 8:15 pm

Story
Meet Daisy B! Daisy B is a puppy very deserving of a loving forever home! Daisy B was the only surviving puppy from her litter. Mom and Dad were discovered near a hospital in a wooded area with this one little puppy. After a volunteer finally earned their trust, she was able to trap them and bring them to safety. Daisy B has been spayed and microchipped, she is also up-to-date on all her vaccines. Having had no human contact for the first few months of her life, Daisy B is extremely shy when she first meets you. It will take some time and patience to allow her to come out of her shell. As shy as she is, she has never shown any aggression towards humans nor animals. She is perfectly content in her kennel. She loves balls and is curious about toys. Daisy B is so quiet, and only has the occasional whine when she needs to go outside. Daisey B would greatly benefit from a confident and playful dog in the home. She would love nothing more than a playmate to teach her that humans aren't all so bad after all. Story
Allow me to introduce you to the one and only Belen! This furry little angel is not just your average rescue dog, oh no! She is the ultimate social butterfly, fluttering around with the grace of a delicate butterfly. Her days are filled with an insatiable desire to play and hang out with her foster sisters, making her the life of the party. And let me tell you, she's not just a dog lover, but a cat lover too! Belen's journey began on a gloomy, rainy day in the streets of Houston. She was lost and alone, but fate had a different plan for her. Once she found her way to safety, it didn't take long for her to decompress and reveal her true colors. Her beautiful, loving personality shone through like a ray of sunshine. This little superstar is definitely a team player and thrives in a home with another furry friend by her side. She's got all the manners down - housebroken, leash and crate trained like a pro! It's like she's been taking lessons from the best canine instructors out there. Now, here's the exciting part! We have special transports leaving Houston every two weeks, heading towards the picturesque Pacific Northwest with a delightful pit stop in Bellingham, Washington . This means our lovely Canadian residents can make the trip and pick up Belen, giving her the forever home she deserves. How amazing is that? If you're interested in learning more about Belen or want to submit an adoption application, fear not! Simply visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org . We've got all the information you need right at your fingertips. So don't keep this precious gem waiting, take a leap of faith and give Belen the loving home she's been dreaming of! received.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts. Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. ##1952068##

Story
Meet Red. He was saved from a busy highway in Humble Texas. He is possibly a German Shepherd mix but looks like a smaller Carolina. He is young and energetic but very sweet and loving. He appears well groomed, has learned basic commands, and looks very healthy. He is eager for companionship and sadly always seems to be on the lookout for his previous owner. We've tried but we have not been able to find his former home. He was not neutered or microchipped when he was found but he has been vetted since. Red is now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is ready for a loving home. Please fill out an application on the website loveacat.org. We are cat rescuers but we are dog lovers too and want to find a great home for this sweet, sweet pup.

Story
Peanut Butter ran up to my hubby, trying to get into our house. We are the kind of people who don't want to see dogs on the streets, of course we took him in. We thought we would find his owners and be done. Sadly, we learned that his 'owners' didn't want him, so they kept letting him out so he would just go away. (They even admitted this to the police who were trying to help get him back home.) Long story short, since the owners made it clear they did not want him, I feared for him so I told them I would take it upon myself to get him a Furever Home. He is clipped, chipped, and super healthy. He has been fully vaccinated & even has the optional Bordatella vaccine (required for boarding). He is 1 yr old, 19 lbs. (fully grown so he won't grow anymore). He is a LOVE BUG and LOVES TO CUDDLE He is OK with other animals but he doesn't know when to stop. He wants to play but can get a lil aggressive with play. Better by himself, unless he gets trained. He is a great baby
