### Coco came into our lives on an exceptionally hot July day in Texas. She arrived hungry, thirsty, and with a mild flea problem, but none of that changed her sweet, affectionate nature. She wasn’t a fan of bath time but she tolerated it like a champ. She is nearly house-trained, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and gives the softest little whimper when she needs to go outside. She'd much rather be curled up in your lap, though, and we suspect she'd happily trade her crate for a spot in your bed. When Coco first arrived, she was timid around the foster's family dog and would cower when he approached. As she began to feel safe, her personality blossomed. Now she happily plays with him and even starts games of chase. She has also discovered a little protective streak. When the dogs next door started barking at the fence, Coco immediately positions herself between her family and the fence and barked back. Once I reassured her that everything was okay, she relaxed. That's Coco: gentle and loving, but deeply loyal to her people. And then there are those eyes. While she reminds us of Cleopatra, with her naturally dramatic eye markings. The family's son chose the name Coco, but Cleo sounds suitable. Coco is a calm, affectionate little girl who wants nothing more than to feel safe, be loved, and stay close to her person. She deserves a forever home where she'll be cherished like the little princess she is. If you're looking for a gentle companion who will love you with her whole heart, Coco may be your girl. >> Looking for a snuggly, smart, fun dog? Meet Fawn!! >> >> She is a precious young (estimated 2-3 years old) blonde Lab/husky mix who was stray in South Dallas area. Fawn has such an endearing personality- she is smart, very affectionate, loves to be social, and takes correction well while learning her manners. >> She entertains herself with a toys or a chewy, and is always eager for someone else to join her! She seems to love other dogs as well (small and large), but I would use caution while still introducing her to any other pets you have (as the case for ANY rescued pup!) >> >> Fawn has the cutest sploot and loves to lay with her legs froggy style on her belly. She will want to follow you around the house and snuggle up right next to you for belly scratches! >> >> She has been doing great at learning boundaries, has never had a potty/poop accident inside, and sleeps quietly through the night. She had been scared to go in a car, but has learned quickly car rides are fun, and now jumps freely into the car! It is unknown how she does with cats since finder/foster doesn't have them. She is hw+, but has been started on doxycycline and will start hw treatment very soon. >> >> Fawn is an amazing pup and deserves a loving home!
