But she warms up pretty quickly. She does not bite or show any aggression at all. She knows sit and stay. She’s crate trained for the most part and potty trained maybe about 85%.

She will want to follow you around the house and snuggle up right next to you for belly scratches! >> >> She has been doing great at learning boundaries, has never had a potty/poop accident inside, and sleeps quietly through the night. She had been scared to go in a car, but has learned quickly car rides are fun, and now jumps freely into the car! It is unknown how she does with cats since finder/foster doesn't have them. This beautiful girl is Sweets and she is true to her name. She is a young girl apprx 4 yrs. old., fully vetted and heartworm negative. She is crate and house trained and good on a lead. Sweets loves to play with the others here (see video). She is Carolina Dog which is kind of unusual, and her eyes are stunning! We would prefer a home with another dog, smilar in size, for her to play with, but not mandatory. And due to her playfulness we would recommend a home with no small children. Helena is a beautiful girl that was in big trouble when we rescued her. We took her in on Sat. and she gave birth to 9 pups the next day.. She was an excellent mother and all of her pups found homes. Now she is ready!! She is a beautiful golden color- a lab mix is our best guess. She has short hair and beautiful eyes. She will not mess in her pen at all so she is walked a lot. She is heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccs. Meet Thelma! She is a 1yr old beautiful golden eyed female Staffordshire Bull/American Staffordshire Terrier mix that weighs 36lbs. She came into the shelter on 10/2 as a stray. Reviewing her pictures through dog scanner, stated there may also be cattle dog in the mix. No matter, she is a very sweet gentle loving pup. She can be shy initially, but given some time she becomes your BFF. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently and maybe housetrained. She has been very well cared for as can be seen in her clean, soft fur. She loves to be petted and loved on, will give you kisses on your hand, and will sneak a kiss or two on your face. She didn`t show much interest in toys, and the squeaky ones seemed to frighten her. As other dogs were barking at her, she didn`t show any interest, as she wanted to go out into the yard to stretch her legs. While out in the yard she had a burst of the zoomies, with her ears up and a big smile on her face. She hopes to find her own loving family soon, a secured yard to play in, but definitely be an indoor pup as she is a great cuddlebug! You couldn`t ask for a more loyal loving companion!
