Story
According to his foster, 4 ½ year old mix of Carolina Dog and Shepherd named Butter is “exquisite!” What could she mean by that? First of all is his medium coat of red and gold that shines in the sun.  He weighs between 50 and 55 pounds and is quite trim at that.  His eyes are large, especially when they’re looking into yours.  What else? Butter is gentle and easy going. He always takes treats from your hand easily.  He enjoys going for walks and playing with tennis balls. He is sweet and enjoys giving hugs, being brushed, and receiving belly rubs! We love this boy!  (ME, 11//8/23)  (updates 3/11/24) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption/Transport Fee:  $250.00May 15, 2024, 1:18 pm

Story
SYNDIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!    Syndie is an 18-week-old Carolina/Lab mix. She has a beautiful, shiny black coat, a precious dainty face, and a sweet, quiet disposition. Syndie had a freak accident when she was about 12 weeks of age and injured the nerves in her pelvic area. As per the veterinarian specialist, she has healed, is gaining strength in her rear legs, and is FULLY functional as evidenced by running and playing with her siblings. However, she will probably always walk with a slight limp. She is ready now for a special loving, caring FURever home.   She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, puppy shots as well as rabies shot. Her adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Syndie up north after she is adopted.  To apply to adopt Syndie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any Questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .  THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 13, 2024, 11:36 am

Story
At a little less than 10 lbs and 2 months old, someone dropped these two sweet brothers off and just drove away, leaving them to fend for themselves. A kind neighbor called the rescue and, of course, we had to say yes. Now both of them are looking to be adopted into their own forever homes. They are just as sweet as pie, playful, love play time with each other and other dogs and are just as silly and goofy as a puppy should be. Jackson is going to make someone a fantastic family dog. He loves to cuddle and sit on your lap! He is great with kids, other dogs, and even likes the cats. He is doing very well on his potty training and is fully crate trained but still needs a bit of work on leash walking. He is current on shots, has been neutered and microchipped and is ready to join his forever family. If you think that might be yours, just press the big button marked "Ask About Me" and we will get you the information on how to adopt Jackson. He and his brother Johnson) are being fostered in Tennessee, but they will be brought to a destination near you by the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Hi, I'm Cashew The world can seem a bit overwhelming to me, but with a gentle touch and a bit of patience, I promise to be your most loyal friend. I walk well on a leash, always careful not to pull or rush. I'm a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I'm all heart. I've got a gentle soul, preferring quiet moments to loud ones. I find joy in the simplest of things - a soft pat, a kind word, and oh, how I love treats! They're my favorite. I'm looking for a companion who understands that sometimes, the world is a scary place, but together, we can face it. Adopting me won't just change my life, it will make yours a little brighter too. I'm just waiting for my forever home, could it be with you?
